had a great stop over here. stayed one night.View all reviews by teamdusty
the town is one of the more interesting on the route.
we got a pitch along the grass which was lovely. there are public toilets open 7 till 7.
still only 3 EUR plus electric on the meter.
can't complain about that.
worth coming to.
A one-night stopover on the 'Romantic Road' trip. We secured a spot next to the grass strip, then found it backed onto a railway line - thankfully on a Sunday there weren't too many trains! By 7pm the place was rammed full.Cost €3 for ticket from machine plus €2 for water fill up. Easy short walk into the historic, medieval city with its walls.View all reviews by fairyfoot
The other reviews sum it up so a left field review. Gerd Muller was born and raised here and on the other side of the town is a football stadium in his honour. You can get in the back gates and have your photo taken on it. Pleasant walk round the park but nothing special. The town however is a corker as described in far better reviews than mineView all reviews by suavecarve
Spacious parking, you can take up 2 slots if you wish. €3, plus extra for water and electric. Short walk into the town. Near a main road but not too noisy. A good stopoverView all reviews by joyet
Dedicated parking for 25 Motorhomes at the back of mixed parking. Walk to town 200m, which is traditional Bavarian and has medieval covered walls on which you can walk completely around the old town approx 2.7km.View all reviews by jezabel
Large area for motorhomes. EHU €2 for 2kh, €2 for water. A 5 minute walk to walled city, walls free to walk on and mainly covered. Supermarket under bridge. There is a tower her that is 350 steps to the top with very good views. McDonalds just 3 minutes away from stopover. The railway museum is very run down but has lots of engines and carriages on display.View all reviews by tinka
A good Stellplatz in a great location, The reviews below have covered everything, I've added a useful picture of the aerial view of the medieval walled town. Definatly worth a visitView all reviews by r77ngo
Excellent walled town, which is mostly covered and allows you to follow.View all reviews by ourleapoffaith
The parking is at the end of some mixed parking, so expect noise. Electric is by meter at €2 per 2kw
Was an easy to find location and plenty of space in bays as long as everyone parks sensibly.View all reviews by braii205
We managed to park close to the electric point , but make sure you have a long lead incase.
We were happy that there was a decent public toilet, however this then closed at 19:30pm until 7am which was disappointing as it would work much better if it was a pay option 24/7.
The next bad thing was the electric allowance ran out much sooner than it should have. This happened 3 times during our stay, so it ended up being 6 euros. So take plenty of change in case, they accept only 2 euro coins and it is supposed to be for 2Kw but ours tripped after just 2 hours of very little power needs.
Overall ok spot with spacious parking, facilities let it down big time compared to what it boasts online.
Great motorhome parking within minutes of the beautiful medieval town which has a 1.7km walk around the top of old city walls. Lots of bars, cafes and shops in the centre as well as historical buildings to visit. There a few shops and McDonalds right next to the parking. We stayed one night whilst travelling the Romantic Road and really enjoyed the stay which was good value at 3 euros per night.View all reviews by samwillis17
Sectioned area of car park on the outskirts of Nördlingen.View all reviews by admin
Space for around 40 vans depending upon how people park. There is a strip of inline parking with grass adjacent. Nördlinghen is apparently the only medieval town in Germany where the city wall is intact and you can walk all the way around
