We opted for the grassed area as the the other one looked a bit comerical. All places were taken by 7. Quite night but lots of lorries passing early morning. Town is wothin easy walking distance with a few bars and resturants.View all reviews by irishwales
Peaceful aire at the side of the river, great stopover, easy access from A75.View all reviews by anjasola
As previous reviews a very pleasant stop parked by the river. The town has lots of pattisiers that sell excellent bread and cakes.View all reviews by terryc7749
In the winter months this is a parking plus grey water drop aire only as the water is turned off.View all reviews by janeattwell
Very quiet and pleasant stop
Excellent vet in town for Pet Passport
This is a fantastic municipal aire that is split into two. The first part consists of 9 pitches on grass next to the river; the pitches are approx 100m Sq and have shade provided by trees, the ground is grass but solid and flat but uneven in places.View all reviews by ukbigd
If it is too wet or full approx 100m further along is a flat tarmac car park with a further 9 spaces. The service point is located here and whilst disposal is free fresh water is 2€ for 80l.
The town is 300m away and is accessed via a footbridge over the river. It has a couple of bars/restaurants, patisseries, butchers and a supermarket. It is very rural France.
Aire rules aside everyone by the river had tables and chairs out and we had a bbq with no objections. Plenty of friendly 'bonjours'. Dog friendly with large grass areas alongside the river for walks.
This site is free and is suitable for a couple of nights stay to break a journey, there is not enough to see or do to warrant a longer visit unless you want a free place to stay to do nothing.
Large MHs up to 10m would be accommodated next to the river comfortably and access from the A75 is easy.
