Very pleasant aire at rhe edge of pretty village. Lovely views. Services free except for water, service area very clean. Access through village, follow signs.View all reviews by jm4man
Stayed for 2 nights last weekend (14th/15th Sept) our 3rd visit. Officially only 5 places but 11 stayed on both nights. The non official spaces will need ramps for levelling. Although we did try and park away from the others as much as we could, possibly we weren't the most popular people when we departed for the morning Ouistreham ferry home at just after 6.30am !View all reviews by cartyl
2nd time here but this time spent two nights to give us a chance to explore the area.View all reviews by cartyl
Clecy is a really lovely village with a little grocery store open until 7.30pm Mon-Sat and also open sunday mornings a boulangerie, bars and a restaurant.
Also discovered the great cycling on the disused railway line by the river, part of the Le Velo Francette (voie verte). Would recommend cycling in to Thury Harcourt on this route 12km away. Great tarmacced, level, traffic free cycling. The route can be accessed by cycling down the path at the bottom of the aire turning right on to road and down the hill and crossing over to other side of river.
Also public toilet in village by church if required.
Small park up, we used for a quick overnight stay so cant say much about the area. Make sure you have tokens for the water!View all reviews by lexT
Small village with a few bars\shops. Aire is for 5 but around 14 could fit on if using small car park for tennis and other sports. Ramps needed. Water craft hire nearby in village. Pleasant.View all reviews by curlytail
Used this aire the night before catching the morning ferry from Caen to Portsmouth. Took about 55 mins to travel to the port, left aire at 6.35am and arrived at 7.30am for ferry. A great little aire to stop at, watched the parapenters flying from the hills behind the village in the evening. A bit tricky to find even with sat nav as it is an off shoot off a housing estate. Aire states 5 vans but there were 8 of us on the evening we stayed. Would use again. May need to use levelling blocksView all reviews by cartyl

Stayed here after getting off the afternoon ferry into Caen; it was a bit of a hack ( not helped by TomTom! ) but worth it. Arrived in the dark and in the morning we were very pleasantly surprised by the view and surroundings. Clecy is a lovely village with a nice little square with boulangerie.View all reviews by s1mon
