I loved it. And willing to pay extra €10 a night not to be on the tight-packed stellaplatz bit where the view likely to be neighbour's kitchen. When at water's edge there's hilltop castle with passing cable cars and - being on corner of junction of mighty Mosel and Rhine rivers - amazing constant boat-spotting to be had. Excellent facilities (inc taps and m-home service point with drain) and attractions mentioned by other reviewers. Although, note mini ferry to town ceases early October.

Location is perfect, facilities are excellent but it's a premium on price at €34.90 with ACSI card, for 2 adults in Motorhome with electric and full use of facilities. There is also a Stellplatz, which is very small with room for only about 10 units and costs €18.50 without electric. Water, waste, elsan, showers and toilets are all extra. I asked about WiFi and was told that it is extra and keeps failing, better to use free WiFi in the town. Ferry near camp site takes you into the town for €1.3

It was okay, a great location by the Rhein & Moselle, good view with easy acces to the city. However, it was expensive 115eu for 3 nights on riverside location. Although facilities were of a high standard I was dissapointed that for the price there was not a water tap in easy reach nor a waste water outlet. You could hear the railway & barges at night but they did not disturb us and we enjoyed hearing them.

We stayed on the Stellplatz area outside the camp and when we arrived there was only one space available at 10am, fortunately this was the end one with views over the Mosel and Rhine rivers. The passenger ferry takes you across to the old town with plenty to see and do. The cable car up to the fort is worthwhile but the tour around the fort in 30C temperature was a bit too much.

After being billed as a luxury camping park, like the other reviewer, I felt it was "okay'. It's position is the best thing about it with a handy little ferry to take you across the river. The motorhome service point was cramped meaning you had to queue and wait for the person in front.Shower block was modern but not over heated or spacious and floor got dirty because of nowhere to leave outside shoes. Hot water was on fixed 'safety' temp, push button, fixed head shower. Not caravan club standar

Excellent location right on the confluence of the Rhine and Mosel rivers. Rhine in Flames weekend is 2nd weekend in August. Try and stay here whilst it is on, you will get a commanding view of the fireworks, and the music festival is right across the river from your pitch. Facilities are, as expected, excellent. Well serviced pitches with spotlessly clean toilets and separate shower blocks. Plenty of recycling points and refuse areas. A cafe/restaurant on site and a cheap passenger boat/ferry at the entrance gets you across to Koblenz itself in a couple of minutes. Well signposted cycle routes as well. All this isn't cheap of course. We paid 42 Euro a night over the festival weekend.

Very convenient for visiting Koblenz. Just a quick ferry ride costing 1.30 euros. The Riverside pitches are expensive at 39 euros but in our view worth it for the uninterrupted view of the Rhine Mosel confluence and entertaining river traffic. Very modern and spotless showers and WCs.

Location super and facilities were modern and clean. But they had re-numbered the places to fit even more units in, no longer considering obstructions - lamp stand and tree in the front of ours. We could only get in place because the neighboring place was empty when we arrived and later we had to ask the neighbors to move their van to let us out when we left! Saw many people having similar problems - not really on considering high price.

The most expensive site we've stayed at, €34 a night for a small pitch, €40 if you want to be right on the river. (This was high season) What you get is a great location for visiting Koblenz, short ferry ride to the old town, and a great setting, right on the river at the confluence of the Rhine and the Moselle. You also get great facilities for yourself and your vehicle. You also have the option of the small stellplatz just next to reception, €15 a night, extra for electric and use of the showe

This site should be renamed as it is now Knaus Camping. There are two options to choose from, either inside the camp itself which for us was too pricey - 34 euros basic - or outside the camp where there are approximately 10 places that cost 15 euros plus 3.50 per person if you want to use the campsites loos and showers; ehu is also extra. The views are similar and we were quite happy with the outside option. Get there early to secure a place.

This is a super site with all of the facilities you would expect, beautifully laid out, clean facilities and on the banks of the Rhine. Nightime view of the fortress opposite illuminated. Daytime view over the river to Kaiser Wilhelm statue, truly awe inspiring... A little on the expensive side for me but apart from that I would use again...

The aire is situated just a the entrance to the Knaus camping, and operated by them also. For those wanting to visit the important city of Koblenz the aire location is arguably unbeatable. With a hundred yards of the aire is a small ferry, pedestrian only, taking you across the Moselle to access the city. The view from the aire is dominated by the Deutche Eck, the German corner, and is at the confluence of the Rivers Rhine and Moselle...
