A great Stellplatz right on the river. You pay at the adjacent campsite, €12.50 for 2 people with EHU. The ancient town is just a 5 min walk away with great places to eat. There are also some lovely old historic buildings and a town walk way (rundweg) that takes you on a good tour around the town. Definitely recommended

Lovely place to stop, really pleasant guy at the campsite where you pay. €12.5 pn for 2 people with ehu.
Bacharach village is a nice walk around and there is a castle on the hill, which looked to be on a tourist path if you wantes a hike up. There are lots of little restaurants as we walked up to a lookout tower which you can go 75% of the way up. Great view over the river.
Quite a bit of train noise from either side of the river, apart from that a nice spot where tou can go for a swim off the campsite beach if you like

Make sure you stop at the correct place. There are two moho stops. One charges €15 no facs, the other next to the campsite charges€10 and has waste dump and water( charge for water). Can use the loos and showers on site ( charge for showers). Ehu €2.50 extra. Gravel and flat. Next to cycle way and 5 mins walk into lovely Bacharach. Very pleasant canpsite owners. You pay there.

Good spot for views and walks and town. Friendly owners. Nice on site bar/restaurant.
Got full over weekend.
10€ without ehu. 1€ for water
Would use again.

Lovely spot on the bank of the Rhine, close to a wine village and river cruise boarding station and Rhine cycle path. I recommend visiting Boppard by boat and using the chairlifts to visit the restaurant with the best natural view I have ever seen whilst eating. All campsite facilities available for half the price. Some noise from nearby railway but not too intrusive.

We arrived to a notice saying that the camp site owners were on hols. So no EHU nor waste disposal available and nobody to pay! This did not bother us but other larger 'vans seemed put out at the absence of services. Fantastic location overlooking the Rhine, watching the. cargo boats struggling up river and swooping down! The medieval town was fascinating but is probably horrendously busy in tourist time. Had a nice meal in the Jagerstube; it was just about the only place open but the bottle of Rhine Riesling was memorable.

Nicely located next to the river and the picturesque town. We stayed at the stellplatz next to the campsite. It isn't owned by the campsite, but you pay the campsite. Its €10 a night, €2.50 for electricity, £1 for water. Not sure if you are allowed to use the campsite toilets and showers. Lidl is 5km away.

Upon arrival find your spot and plugin
Go to reception and register with them
Lots of facilities can be used incl washing machine toilets and showers get token from reception for showers €1 (you will probably need 2 per shower)

IMPORTANT check the live and neutral rotation of the electric as ours was reversed - simple test fixed using own cable

we were lucky to get riverside spot
had a short walk into village plenty of little shops and bars to explore for an hours or two

Great parking at the side of the Rhine run but not owned by the campsite, parking area is closed for two weeks in July due to the village taking it over for a bowling competition. Bacharach is a lovely village with lots of bars and restaurants, wine tasting and shops. Cycle track along the Rhine to Bingen totally of road about 15 km.

Well maintained parking run by next door camping ground. Good views of river, all facilities avallable for €11 pn, Showers €1. Town just 5 minute walk, cheaper than public stehlplatz close by.

Great site for a couple of nights. Good views of the river, and the free use of the campsite toilets, showers are 1Euro. Wi fi available at bar / restaurant.
