Two recent retirees, two dogs. Overnight on our way home.

Massive aire by the harbour. Facilities bit basic (no toilets, electric at dump
station only, €2 for water), but it’s only €7 for 24 hrs. €20 for 25 hours. Wouldn’t be great in bad weather as a bit muddy and potholed surface.

But great location, very close to town. Great dog walk along the dam. Very quiet when we were there, but definitely want to go back when warmer. Would imagine it’s a great choice as a first overnight stop after crossing the channel.

Good vet 5 mins away in Rue - it’s on the Search for Sites map.

Large flat carpark nearly deserted on a wet Nov day. No discount for out of season parking. But a great location and services still on.

Great stopover by the harbour. Long walks along the beach/esplanade possible. Plenty of bars and restaurents and small shops and convenience store. Services ok, can dump grey and black for free but no water without payment. Its a gravel car park that puddles when it rains.

About 90 vans here overnight, but still some space and not overbearing.

Pleasant walk along the harbour wall, where there are some picnic tables overlooking the marina.

The town is about a ten minute flat walk, with a range of cafes.

Heavy rain when we stayed so a bit puddly. Only half full. A good stopover for returning to the ferry/eurotunnel. 7 euros per night. Town very quiet and not much open. Tide was in and very high.

As previously stated, excellent location, some lovely views and excellent restaurants. Stayed on the 22nd June, a Friday afternoon and counted over 140 vans. Woke up and found a French van parked so close we couldn’t open the hab door fully. A few taps on his van and he moved sharpish.

Our first experience of an aire, on our first night in France. A large, level gravel area, about 20 vans here but room for lots more. I would imagine it's busy in the summer. Really good location, nice stroll along the harbour front takes you to some nice bars and seafood stalls, 3kgs of scallops for €18.

100 places set on hard mud. Waste and Toilet emptied for free, EHU and Water 2 euros, pitch 7 euros. We were there at the end of March 18 and there were constant tractor with trailers every 5 minutes going to and fro from 2pm when we arrived until 9pm. Near a bird sanctuary and sea inlet.

This is one of our must stop overs on our way back we try to stay a couple of nights, so we can take a trip on the
the little steam train which goes to St Valery Sur Somme 14 euros a head, lunch in St Valery then back on the
train about an hours trip each way. The parking can get a bit mucky as it is on that white gravel .
Parking is only a few minutes walk from town and there is a walk right out on to the estuary.
Fresh fish can also be bought direct from the fishermen. Bread van daily.

Large open parking, easy access for m/h fee 7euros, for 24hrs, 2 Euros for water. Easy walk to the village where there are banks, bars and restaurants. There is also a small supermarket, pharmacy bakers and butchers. The surrounding area is flat ideal for cycling, maps from tourist office in the village. There is a train which goes to St Valery Sur Somm. Plentry to do and see!

Very busy so need to get there early , ideal for the town , car park doesn't drain when it rains so some spaces are unusable . Nice cycling around the area.

The aire was ok, despite recent storms it wasn't too muddy. It is big and does get full. The card machine was out of action so ensure you have correct change as police do check. Two service points albeit only one bay. Good area for access to cycle routes. A good number of seafood restaurants in town. Not a lot else to see. There is a market on Friday and Saturday mornings. Station not far away to catch the train to St Valerie. It was quiet at night. Dogs prohibited from beach. Glorified parking.

This is really just a large bumpy and dusty (in dry weather) car park. It's the location that makes it worthwhile as le Crotoy (pronounced "crotwah" if you're interested) is a charming place and worth visiting. If you are lucky enough to get a space overlooking the bay the views are great, otherise the view is basically more camping cars. When we visited the credit card machine was OOO and from what we were told this is a practically permanamt feature.
Carre Foure shop is a 5 minute cycle ride

If you catch this site right and there's space on the 'front' then it's fabulous. Other than the select few on the front it can be pretty tightly packed. It's a good way of making friends with neighbours though ! Pay at the machine as you enter. A 'flot bleu' for services.

Stayed here as first stop-off after landing in France. We arrived at about 7pm and managed to squeeze in by doing what a lot of other campers had already done.. block in other vans in the middle. Went to the paymeter and it was not working (confirmed with other French camperfolk there). Then got awoken at 7am by municipal police to 'pay now'. Can see what the attraction in good weather is.. right on the town and lovely views if you get the right spot, but not a place I shall re-visit. Did not use the service area because of queues.

Dry & sunny when we visited so no mud problems but can see that might be different after heavy rain. Great position just a few minutes walk into the town. Quiet and relaxed out of season. My sort of place. The view is excellent from the from row - less so further back.

Good stopover but can be realy muddy in the wet and gets very busy. The services are basic but OK. Town is lovely and a great walk around the seafront, we stayed watching a seal play a 100 m from the Aire.

Great for the town which is nearby but unless you can get a place overlooking the harbour you view will be of many other motorhomes. Its a big place but one to stay away from if there has been recent heavy rain. The ground gets very muddy and its very difficult to keep the mud/sand outside. pleasant walks in nearby dunes on decent weather. its at best a cheap parking place for an overnight or visit to the town, probably not a place you would want to stay at too long unless you get a spot at the front. There is only one water point which you will have to get on line for most days.

This is normally our first stop having come from the tunnel, although busy and can be dirty if wet we have always been able to get on. Take a walk into town as there are plenty of places to eat and buy fresh fish. Make sure you get a ticket from the machine as they check regularly.

Arrived here on a Sunny friday afternoon and counted 119 vans already parked up tight. Great location with short walk into town and walks out onto the bay. Direct access to cycle tracks around the bay and beyond. Excellent choice of seafood restaurants a short walk away in the town. Can get very dusty in dry weather as the surface is very fine sand. Price is now 6 euros ticket machine at entrance, municipal police check tickets. Just don't expect to have lots of space!

Large dedicated motorhome parking area opposite the harbour port at Le Crotoy. A short 5 min stroll into town with its restuarants and seafood stalls.
Space for well over a 100 vans and is very popular so can be very crowded. There are couple of prime pitches overlooking the harbour area otherwise you park in rows which can be quite tight and offer no view other than another van.
We stopped for a look and decided to check out the other aire at the other end of the town and glad we did, much more civilised albeit further from the town centre.
