Great place for access to the beach and not a long drive when you've landed at Dunkirk. There were quite a few spaces free when we arrived but sadly a very rowdy group of young motorhomers parked next to us and partied for much of the night. Beach is great for dog walkers, maps showed areas where dogs can't go but I don't think they care out of season. Ground was a little muddy when we were here but it has been raining plenty. The marked spaces are plenty wide enough for any sized motorhome and some parked alongside the grassy verge.View all reviews by couboys10
Good location for beach. Limited spaces due to construction plant equipment taking up eight bays. Arrived very late on a Saturday night in February, only two pitches free! Perhaps would have a back up plan if coming in peak season. Also would worry about being blocked in if parked in a bay as they separated by four foot heavy wooden posts.View all reviews by jaynep
Stopped here during a day in November 2016. From the pictures they appear to have decreased the size. I have put on the 2 I took on 14/11/16. Was a miserable day as you can see from pictures. Had about another 6 vans in. Handy for tunnel and ferries. There is a Site about 3/4 of a mile up the road.View all reviews by imscots2
A basic Aire with no facilities. Effectively on the seafront so within walking distance of bars, restaurants etc. Very busy, with quite a few motorhomes looking like they'd taken up residence for the duration of the summer. Give it a try but have a couple of backups ready!View all reviews by mountain3000
Tried this as an alternative to gravilines as it was free and in the direction we were heading. It took about 20 minutes from the port. Arrived just after midnight to find all the spaces were full, however as it was late and we were leaving early in the morning, we squeezed in between two vans that didn't look like they would be moving off in the morning blocking them in.View all reviews by admin
Site is a gravel car park spaced off with wooden posts with space for 30 vans with the beach a large expense of flat sand, behind the dunes. Which is popular for runner cycling and wind surfing carts.
Dogs were also in enjoying the long beach, and I didn't see any 'Chien Interdit' signs.
There is an alternative car park just before you arrive here next to the football sports ground, were there were some vans parked up for the night.
