Great location. Do not follow sat nav without SFS guidance. Narrow entrance but lovely spot. Bike and walking paths adjacent and very quiet. Adjacent play park if you have kids. Will be back.

We spent 2 nights here. Quiet and peaceful. Plenty of space. Nice walks. Short walk into town. Satnav sent us down a narrow street next to the canal. Had to turn around and find an alternative route. Would definitely return.

We arrived late afternoon expecting to have to go elsewhere but managed to tuck ourselves in.It seems very popular with the locals, walking, fishing, playing with the kids and sailing. There is currently a problem with blue green algae in the lake so there are signs warning you not to go in the water and to be honest, given the smell of the water I definitely wouldn't go in. Easy walk to town and plenty of cycle tracks. would go back.

Pleasant lakeside spot to spend the night. We spent a very quiet night here. Nice walk around the lake and an easy stroll into town where there are plenty of shops.

Really enjoyed staying here, although no facilities, you can go to the public toilets a short walk away, which are cleaned everytime you use the toilet, great walks, but not to keen on the duck trapping that was going on, and the gun shots. But would not put me off from going at another time in the year; Little snack hut nearby and big supermarket at walking distance. Enjoyed watching dogs working/training to pull boat and save people from drowning on the friday we were there (interesting)

Arrived at 1.30 on sunday. Imly a couple of vans in but they had been here for a while.
Nearly full of cars with more coming and being abandoned everywere.
Anyone arriving adter 2pm car or van had to leave.
Most cars left by 6 and then plenty of space.
Nice area and pleasant walks.

What a great find, but be careful of Sat Nav directions! Luckily we almost bumped into a french guy who showed us the best way in, by taking right round the town. Super spot. Some toilets around 100 metres away that are open during the day. Nothing else except great lakeside walking for us and the dog and a very peaceful night. Good facilities in the town with a large supermarket as well . Would certainly go back if in the area again.
