This is a mixed carpark with 5 dedicated motorhome bays you can pay by the hour for a short visit or €15.30 for 24 hours. There are no services other than a small bin and the carpark is closed for the petanque tournament at the end of July, tgere is a nice view of the river and the park in front can be used to sit out.View all reviews by jezabel

Left a lovely Stellplatz which must be 100/100. This morning. First stop Lahstein but didn’t like it very big no view and €11. So went on to Oberwesel. Got parked but even 7.4m is not easy to manoeuvre in a mixed car park. Got a spot €8 but although had a nice view the trains just a road width away was really bad. So moved on. Ended here. Not brilliant and at €15 for no services think it poor value for money. Very dusty ground and stones in a pile blocking the view!!! So moving in tomorrow. Had to find a ban as €15 in coins we didn’t have!!!
Parking on a public car park just along the road from the official stellplatz. We parked here as the stellplatz was full. Signage is unclear as to whether overnight parking is allowed but several other motorhomes stayed over & noone moved us on. Parking here is payable so we just paid for the relevant number of hours. No services at all but a great view of the river & a short walk to the ferry point for trips up & down the river. Close to old Bacharach centre which is beautiful to walk around.View all reviews by sallyr1964
