(Woodlake campsite) peacefull ADULTS ONLY site for motorhomes / caravans / tents and hammock camping.
(OPEN ALL YEAR ) Dog friendly with large off the lead dog play enclosure. Hardstandings or grass pitches . Very clean showers and toilets/ kitchen facilities free inc tea & coffee. On site walk is 8 ACRES of wood and lake for conservation lovers and bird watchers and star gazers . This campsite is situated at the edge of the friendly village of great hatfield which has pub/restaurant/shop . Also the local beach at mappleton has a lovely dog friendly tea shop. Good local walks including the transpennine way leads from this village. Highly recommended.

Nice, large hardstanding pitches. Facilities are deceiving. The toilets and showers look like there in a barn but they are stunning. Heated and very clean. There’s a free microwave to use and a few other bits. A pub 10 minutes walk away and Hornsea town a hour and a half walk. We’ve already booked our next visit. £20 per night in February, think it’s the same all year round
