Had 2 great nights on this new CL good place to stay, nice views, pub over road, good walking on Montgomery canal with horse drawn boat trips from rear of pub, a little bit of road noise but didn't bother us, very welcoming family and spacious field Ideal for our little mutt, would definitely use again and for a longer stay, ????

Generous pitches all with electric and water & small light so you can see if you arrive after dark. CDP, recycling & rubbish on site.

You will get very warm welcome from Graham and his 2 dogs. Picnic benches to use.

Stroll down the canal to Berriew to enjoy the tea shop or either of the hotels. Pick up the essentials at the village shop. Welshpool, Powis castle, Montogmery (with a great brewers visitor centre) all just a few minutes drive.

Across the road is the horseshoes pub who keep a good pint and serve reasonably priced food.

LPG close by & opposite Howards at Coed-y-Dinas do good food too.

Buses are available on the main road but did not use them.
