Good for daytime parking but new signs saying no overnighting. Very good icecream van when we were there. We overnighted at the Errwood Hall car park down the road.

Found a layby next to the lake that did not have a sign saying no overnight parking - little did we know that another minute’s drive down the road there was a carpark with at least two other campervans! Nevertheless, our one night stay was peaceful, tranquil, and had gorgeous surroundings. There was very little traffic and we had some lovely walks with the dogs near the reservoir. Would definitely recommend!

The most peaceful nights sleep ever! Not much traffic. Stayed 2nd of March on an area right by the reservoir, but only really big enough for one motorhome. Another carpark close by which says NO CAMPING, but another one which looked level further round. The road at the end by the 2nd car park is one way, and they close it between May and September. I personally wouldn't leave via that way. It looks very narrow. Google Earth it!! Will definitely be back. No bins so take your rubbish home!

Very quiet location, its a big parking area with some level pitches and great views. Wouldnt recommend for a caravan or a very wide camper as narrow single lane roads to and from
