Parked up in area through gated entrance, not now locked overnight according to man in cafe. Flat parking adjacent to tennis courts with open outlook. Plenty of coming and going with dog walkers and sporties and late romantics but quite overnight .Good walks around peninsula.View all reviews by davee10
Couple with 6m van. All other reviews confirmed (its not a lake it is an estuary/ river) but on a Tuesday night the young lads were hanging around with their motors. A bit of revving and showing off only lasted 30 mins then they went off to bed thankfully. A few drive in and just park up probably for recreational purposes but keep to themselves. It worked fine but we were unsettled by the late evening activity but had a great quiet time the rest of night.View all reviews by WolfyDC
Level car park, very busy on a sunny Sunday afternoon, less cars after about 5pm. We parked overhanging the grass in the gated section (not locked o/n).View all reviews by TheSherratts
Plenty of bins, including recycling. Benches with beautiful views back up the estuary to the cathedral. Toilets a few minutes walk away in the park (locked @6pm). 20 minutes level walk into Truro.
The park itself was lovely, a fantastic play area and lots of different sports pitches....worth a whole day if you have children.
There were some comings and goings, nothing intrusive apart from a very loud half hour of car karoke with a dance off at around 11pm, luckily we really liked the playlist!!! Silent thereafter til the birds at dawn.
Great place for a stop-over and just outside of Truro. I arrived about 4.30 and there was plenty of space although it was a very wet afternoon and there may not have been as many dog-walkers and runners etc out. Quite a few cars came and went and there is a scout hut so people dropped off their kids and either stayed or left. It was a quiet spot, no noise overnight and the lake is beautiful just watch out for overhanging trees when you park.View all reviews by winedineroam

Ideal spot very close to Truro Town centre. Toilets on hand and little café. Don't go through barrier at bottom unless you want to be locked in overnight. Opposite tennis courts overlooking River. Lovely park which quietens down later on. Spot on.View all reviews by maxnpaddysroadtrip
Great parking toilets nearby and a lovely park. Lots of dog walkers and runners but not a problem.View all reviews by jdowson
Several spaces here, but most have low tree branches, so take care. Parking by the tennis courts is best.View all reviews by radioham
Stayed here for a night and sitting watching the sunset over the water was great.
Parking is free with no time or height restrictions, but the car park is busy until mid-evening, so you may struggle to find the right spot until it clears.
There is on-road parking outside the car park.
