Newly opened in September 2017 the set in a rural and scenic location with open views. Conveniently situated next to a traditional country pub that serves great quality pub food and real ales. 3 miles from A1 north/south, the site is ideal for stop-overs or long weekends.
Close to major towns, Newton Aycliffe business park and many local tourist attractions.
Licensed for 20 caravans and 10 tents. Currently we have 20 hard-standing pitches, with 12 electric hook-up and 10 camping pitches
We are family friendly and dog friendly, flexible arrival and departure times. Small well managed camp fires allowed.

Nobody around when we arrived so just parked on anywhere. Toilets could be better - missing lock on one, no loo paper, could do with a clean, etc.
Close to railway line and trains started again at 5am
Plus side - very friendly staff in the pub next door. Reasonably priced food. Good location, just off A1.

Good value for money little site.
Not far from A1. Nice little pub next to site good food at reasonable prices. Railway line is close but very little noise.

First night here after collecting our new van, £15 for the night with hook up, very slight slope, food was excellent value for money with large portions, will definitely come back!

Pleasant site neat to A1m. Pub next to site. Good food and service dog friendly. some pitches may need ramps. open views of fields and dog walks. cost 15 pounds at Jan 19. Advise to book a table for food in advance. we'll be back..
