Did a 24hr stopover (6pm-6pm midweek) here, €8 well spent. Parked right at the back of the car park, next to the dock offices. Larger motorhomes might struggle with overhang issues, as the spaces aren’t huge.View all reviews by martintype
Reasonably quiet until around 8 am where work started on loading a ship nearby. No facilities but an ideal spot to head into Galway for the day.
Had read that motorhome overnighters were knocked on the head from one internet forum but i saw no signs to suggest this is the case.
No overnight parking here any more and that goes for all of Galway, and they are issuing €60 parking tickets!!!View all reviews by rebbyvid
We stayed here on a Thursday night in late Sept and saw no signs for no motorhome parking. We stayed towards the back of carpark (behind Harbour Hotel). €8 for 24 hrs and a few mins walk to town centre with an abundance of restaurants, shops and pubs. Would definetely recommend. No services.View all reviews by donalgriffin50

lots of no camper signs all around the port and along the promenade.
Galway, definitely do my welcome motorhomes.
Best time to arrive would be after 6pm and go to back of car park. Quieter in evening and still close to city centre 5/10 minutes walk. Facilities rated at 1 as there are non, just a parking place.View all reviews by brianmagill
Close to town centre so good location but no facilities at all. Parking charges are as outlined. I was there for less than 24hrs so cost €8. I would add that this is quite a constrictive car park with normal parking bays. My sprinter is a MWB with a back step 6.3m. I got an angled bay and it was a tight fit. I left on Sunday morninh and there was only one car there so a good arrival dsy maybe.View all reviews by outlawcatcher
this car park is now divided. the major part of it is for contract parking. you can still park, but access is from the front of the harbour hotel. pass with the hotel on the left, and turn into car park, keep to the last and follow it round to the left. it is narrow at first, but widens out though a gate, giving room to turn easily.View all reviews by kevmozzer
Stayed for 2 nights at the back of the car park. Easy access to city centre, well lit and felt secure. Some noise from port activities, but not too much.View all reviews by NickL
