Food served Wednesday to Sunday only.
Very warm welcome from staff even though only having a drink on a Monday evening. Parked 8 m van in rear car park bottom left side- no problem. Dog friendly pub. We were only van there.

Arrived here for a Monday night stay. At the time of writing, they weren't serving food on a Monday and Tuesday evening. Usually I like to eat in a pub where I stay even if they don't insist on it. Landlord was very apologetic and I had a drink instead. He also offered me water for the van. Location is very quiet after around midnight when the traffic noise from the main road has died down. Slept well. The pub itself is gorgeous and worth a visit.

Good quiet overnight stop. Recently taken over by new owners providing small range of well cooked meals at reasonable prices. Parking in car park with no facilities. Very helpful owners.
