Stayed in the pub car park on our way to Bath. Very nice, friendly lady managing the pub - only taken over 3 weeks ago and trying to get the pub “on its feet again”. She does food Fri, Sat & Sun currently. We arrived Thurs but a 5 min walk into Cheddar village and there are so many places to eat. Ideal for visiting the Gorge. We did ring ahead. Nice garden. Have our own “facilities” so didnt need to bother the pub in the morning! Would recommend the Gardener’s Arms and stay again.View all reviews by Bathurst

small bar however friendly locals .Very quiet and peaceful night in tarmac and level car park Surrounding streets are very tight with selfishly parked cars .overall great stop would recommend and I would stay again with the food.
Great quiet location and within 10 mins walk of the main Gorge. The pub has recently changed hands and is traditional and cosy. A fair sized car park. We had a great evening in the pub and will definitely return!View all reviews by megamonkeyman
Nice little pub within walking distance of the gorge. Plenty of room in the car park at the rear and very quiet. Excellent fish and chips and a good pint of Guinness. Will stay here again soon.View all reviews by gingerbabs
Good position for the Gorge and only 15 mins walk away from the main attractions. The pub was closed for refurbishment when we arrived but the landlord came out and said we could still stay there. Location good and car park reasonably level.View all reviews by penthehen999
Would stay again
Great position for cheddar gorge walks. Food was very good, has water as you enter car park on right hand side.Narrow roads around so come off main road onto Orchard way cuts out narrowest roads. Sunday lunch looked terrific but need to book. Dog friendly and nice beer.View all reviews by royarnold
