|Set in beautiful Cheshire countryside adjacent to Cholmondeley Castle, the Cholmondeley Arms is probably one of England’s most unique pubs. It sits inside a former Victorian village schoolhouse on Lord Cholmondeley’s estate. Dating back to 1862 the school was converted in 1988 and it was the first public house on the estate for over a century!|

Just rang to ask if we could stop only to be told that sadly because there has been a great influx of motorhomes and none of them using the facilities of the pub, they are no longer taking motorhomes overnightView all reviews by sherb

Good car park with a nice view over the fields to wake up to.View all reviews by nigelterry63
Super food with a varied menu, although we did have to wait a while after ordering. However, it was Saturday night and very busy, and the food was clearly all cooked to order. If you want 'fast food' then this probably isn't for you. Staff all very pleasant and the pub has a lovely old fashioned feel to it.
Parked at the far end of the car park overlooking the countryside. Some road noise in the morning but not too bad.
Large car park with a cracking pub. Food is excellent and very hospitable staff. Great walks such as Bicerton Hill heath. Absolutely spot on overnight stay. RecommendedView all reviews by maxnpaddysroadtrip
Lovely pub, large car park, fairly flat. Cracking welcome in the pub and the food is top drawer. A bit noisy in the morning from the nearby main road. Will definitely come again.View all reviews by caesar001
