A peaceful and restful stop over, with view overlooking river.View all reviews by rasrepete
Lovely location & walk into town. £6.10 for 24 hours. Parked on the higher level giving us a elevated view of the river. Toilets were just off the car park. Felt very secure with park lighting hence a peaceful nights sleep. Will definately return.View all reviews by marilyn1
Lovely quiet carpark by river in town. Had the place to ourselves, no problems.View all reviews by rabbitboy
A couple of pubs in high street, surprisingly quiet for a Friday night.
There is an Indian restaurant on boat in river by carpark, but we had a takeaway from the little place on left by entrance to carpark which was very busy & had a 90 minute wait for tables. Our takeaway was good.
Great place to stay, $6.10 for 24 hrs - blue badge holders free. We stayed two nights, had different parking inspectors and had no problems with our blue badge. Toilets literally just around the corner. Lovely town, with shops, cafes, pubs and various public toilets to choose from!! As advised we stayed on the terrace just in case it flooded (it didn’t!). Great views of the river and paths to walk your dogs.View all reviews by Smurf60
Stayed here on saturday night. Very quiet 2 other vans in car park. We paid £6.10 the 24 hour caravanette rate although it does say no cooking sleeping etc. But we had been talking to a local the night before who regularly stays here and said it was fine to do so.View all reviews by caronain
Nice little town but judging by how quiet the pubs were we couldn’t undestand why they want to turn the trade away.
No services but that’s to be expected although there are Public toilets a couple of minutes away. A pretty spot overlooking the river.
Great quiet parking area with loads of space. I recommend parking on the upper terrace as the tide really does flood the lower area. There are litter bins, recycling for glass and paper, plenty of places to shop and eat out and a number of respectable, free public toilets around town. We also used Cardi Launderette about half a mile up the main street. We paid the "caravanette" 24 h fee of 6,10 though pay and display does not operate 6pm to 8am. You could leave before 8 and pay nothing!View all reviews by joemme
9/10 car park looking over river. Close to town £2.70 overnight. Defo coming back.View all reviews by vhenshaw
Great location! There is now a sign banning ‘camping, cooking and overnight sleeping’. However still possible to buy a 24 hours ticket for campervans and motorhomes at £6.10. So stayed there for one night without any issues.View all reviews by Hogadir
Stayed for one night during our trip around Wales. Very quiet with views over the river/estuary. Very handy for the town with all amenities. The Saddlers Arms pub is worth a visit and so is Abdul's the Indian Restaurant next to the carpark.View all reviews by richb600
Great spot for a stopover during your tour, plenty of shops nearby for restocking supplies or just for a walk roundView all reviews by talos
many visitor attractions in the town including the castle. No toilets in the carpark but good clean facilities near entrance.
