Good stop for the moors. Steak, ale and stilton pie is the absolute best pie ever.
Toilet and showers are good enough.

Lovely spot for walking on Dartmoor. Definitely DofE seasoned, lots of young people walking and staying at site. One field for tents, one smaller for vans, although we had to park on car park next to tent field as trees to van field too low ( we need 3m clearance). checked with pub and fine to park here. Current tariff £8.50 pppn. Ladies, 2 looes, (very very low !! new knee not happy) 2 showers, black waste disposal, fresh water tap - long hose or carrier required. Dishwashing area. Ate in pub one night after long walk on moors. Good pub grub very well cooked, all our steaks came exactly as requested. Good choice of beers. Will definitely return for more walks

Stayed on Friday night, very busy with camping groups, hence toilets were not at there best. Only two showers, two cubicles in each block, take your own towel for drying hands even when not showering. Pub staff very amenable, friendly with advice on best real ale to try. Quiet night until orange camper van was up then continual sliding and slamming door. That aside, can recommend and would stay again if on Dartmoor.

An old, stoneflagged and atmospheric Inn in the highest town in England.Parking on grass (the paddock) or if allowed, an uneven shale car park.Priced per person (phone for tariff).Very good wholesome food and an excellent breakfast.A short walk to shops and the famous prison, Try the Jail Ale at the Plume. There is a bunkhouse, camping field, showers, toilets, waste disposal and dishwashing area. Worth a visit, you may even catch some live music,Dog friendly.
