From the moment we arrived and were given a frienly welcome from Paul and we felt at home here. Superb 5* facilities and great level pitches. Only a short walk into Crickhowwell which has plenty of pubs, butchers, bakers and independent shops. A stroll from the site takes you along the River Usk which is great for views and wildlife. Will definately stay again!

Lovely site, very well kept, 2 minute walk to a lovely riverside walk.
We were told on arrival that they don’t normally accept tag axle motorhomes, but they do have a couple of pitches that are suitable, so if you have a tag, phone ahead.
Crickhowell is a very quaint town, nice selection of pubs, 2 butchers, all in all, a nice place to stop.

1st visit and absolutely loved it. Small independent site near lovely small Welsh town with abundance of pubs and local shops. If you like cakes the bakery is a must - my husband thought he was in cake heaven! Amenities on site 5 star and Paul the site warden was very friendly. Adult only and reasonable fee £22 pn. Will return and recommend to friends.

A beautiful site with excellent facilities and fantastic views. Spent four nights here, two days overcast two scorching however plenty to see and do here. Lovely flat site with excellent new facilities, all superbly maintained with helpful staff. The town of Crickhowell is a pretty town with independent shops, plenty of pubs all within easy walking distance, I recommend the Bear hotel. Fantastic dog walking facility close by with cracking walks everywhere. No WiFi except at reception, no kids.

Quiet site right on the edge of the village of Crickhowell with fabulous views across the Brecon Beacons. The site is well maintained and tidy. There are two fields, one has quite a few statics and seasonal pitches and the other field is just tourers. The toilet and shower facilities were fabulous and very clean . Dog walking is off site on the adjacent field with lovely walks along the river Usk. The village has several pubs and takeaways. Well placed for walking, Table Mountain is nearby

Motor home 6 mtrs plus dog.

What a great site well run friendly staff, UNDER FLOOR Heating in the showers, generally flat and level with electric hook ups and water close by. The best toilet and shower block I have ever seen in the UK and Canada, other site owners take note only £22.0 per night. The town is only a short walk away, but is all up hill, plenty of pubs and restaurants and cafes. If you like to walk this is the site for you, riverside walks, Canal walks, then there are the Brecon Beacons just up the road plenty of walks up there.

Lovely site, brilliant facilities very clean, picnic tables & bins with most pitches, friendly owners, very helpful. Short walk into lovely town, great for dogs as 2 minutes out of the site you're into a large green area then woodland walks by the river. Perfect. £22 Perry night, as we stayed for 6 nights were only charged £20 per night.

Just spent 3 nights here. A lovely quiet & peaceful site. Well kept with clean facilities. Friendly fellow campers & welcoming hosts. Great location for river, canal and mountain walks. Views of the surrounding mountains & town, including the church spire. A short, uphill, stroll to town with delightful independent shops, cafes & pubs. Great Indian restraunt about 15 - 20min walk out of town (towards Brecon) - busy on Saturday night so might be worth booking (very small car park so just as well that we walked there!)

Great site. The best facilities ever, brand new! Very modern. Love the town, 5 minutes walk, loads of shops, pubs etc. Love it! Wi-fi only by reception but the owner says installing all over the site soon. Also free wi-fi at the Bridge End Pub, 2 minutes from the site and a beautiful position on the banks of the Usk, garden overlooks the historic bridge and river. Love it, will be back. Only £22 per night.

Lovely, small site, in the market town of Crickhowell. Facilities a bit dated, but the new owners are intending to upgrade during the next winter. Ideal location for walking/hiking; Table Top Mountain within easy reach, and walks along the canal and river banks. On the edge of the town, so spoilt for choice with restaurants and pubs. Some nice little shops. Very small craft/local producers selling their wares, on a Saturday, in front of the old Market Hall. Adults only at the moment. Dog friendly. Friendly new owners, open to suggestions. 50p for showers at the moment (doing away with this by next year), but plenty of time allowed. Only £20 a night. Wifi hit and miss, owner looking at ways to improve the signal.
