Fabulous little site, made to feel welcome from the initial phone call with great directions, to recommendations for walks, pubs, taxis etc. Wish the weather had been better so we could have taken advantage of the amazing views.View all reviews by ATadventures
Would definitely visit again and would not hesitate to recommend.
Stayed here over the August bank holiday weekend. Fab site and a great host (Peter). Good clean facilities and great for walking the costal parth and about a 20 min walk into New Quay.View all reviews by camelot
Family with kids. This is a lovely site. Large open spaces for the kids to run around. Toilet/shower/washing up really nicely done and well kept. Owner very friendly. Beautiful views. We only stayed for one night stopover, but would love to come back again for a longer stay and explore the area more.View all reviews by kathryn2804
Great location, wonderful site, currently a work-in-progress as regards shower/toilet facilities that will bloom in time. We received a VERY warm and personable welcome from owner Peter when we arrived. He was informative and helpful being a former motor homer himself.View all reviews by naughtyrascal
The view over the sea and Newquay below is to die for! About 30 minutes walk to town if you want to, otherwise a quiet and sedate location, well worth the journey. We would stay again without hesitation.
Wonderful little site very friendly owners. We had the site to ourselves. The facilities are very clean. There are other sites close by but we definately picked the best one. A real little gem we will be back next year.View all reviews by chrisjknott
We cycled to Llangrannog which is a lovely little village by the sea with nice pubs and cafes.
Lovely site. Very friendly and helpful owners. Tricky to find. Heading down hill A486 into New Quay turn left at pub on corner. Says dead end. Keep going up the lane to the end. Past two other campsites. Beautiful views. Great facilities. July 2019 - £15 a night.View all reviews by Thompsonkittle
What a gorgeous site. Lovely and incredibly helpful owners. Far reaching views of the sea. Hook ups and lovely hower and loo facilities. That hidden gem we all look for. So peaceful and the sunsets are amazing. No light pollution so the night sky is so beautiful. At £15 per night. Definitely recommend and got up the narrow road in a 4ton motorhomeView all reviews by Madison1
Very friendly and helpful. Quiet while I was there during the week but the owners said they were fully booked for the weekend. Toilet and shower were quite a way from the field where I was parked up but not really an issue for me in the van. Lovely walks - easy access to the coastal path which I followed all the way into New Quay town (lots of tourists there as you would expect). Amazing views from the path but steep in parts. Would definitely return.View all reviews by moira
A wonderfully peaceful campsite in an idyllic setting!View all reviews by l1zzzzy
I am informed by the owner that the sea-side field has been doubled in size just prior to our visit. The owners are very helpful and always around for advice about the area! The coastal path with a lookout point is a short walk and is definitely not to be missed.
The driveway up to the campsite will be repaired for the summer as the owners informed me they have farm vehicles that can churn up the tarmac.
We will be sure to visit again!
We stayed here for one night in April. We camped in the small field at the front with sea views. I didn't see the other field that's available nor did I use the facilities which were in the other field so my facilities rating is not based on experience but I'm not allowed to submit my review without rating them. Our field was quite small and mostly sloping although there were some level (ish) areas, levelling blocks might be required. Camping is all on grass and the EHU is attached to the barn so you need to park reasonably close if you want to plug in. Owners very helpful and friendly. TV signal good. We have a large 8.6m tag axle so the mile or so of narrow road from Newquay was a little bit concerning but we didn't meet anything coming in the other direction so not a problem on the day. The entrance to the farm has a short steep gravel covered section which caused us to skid a little. We had understood that the tariff was £10 per night from info provided on the Facebook page and we were told to settle up when we left so was a little surprised to be charged £15 although this did include electricityView all reviews by kaytutt
