Great location, beach is behind pub with a pleasant stroll into village, across the road is a couple of mile walk around a lake. Friendly pub serving decent food and beer, welcome dogs in downstairs bar. RAF Valley jets start up at 8.00 am. Good flat parking area, would highly reccomend.

We planned to stay here in this month. Rang in advance but was told they do not let people stay there until November, because there are caravan sites open in the village, disappointing.

Apparently pubs on Anglesey are getting a lot of stick from campsites about letting motorhomes stay on their car parks!
We asked about staying here and the landlord said yes!
Had a very nice meal here, good value for money.
Would highly recommend.

Did not get to visit but looked really good when we drove past.
Phoned on 14/8/19 and was advised that during high season they encouraged people to stay at local camp sites, but if we were in the area out of season we would be welcome to stay.
We didnt want, or need, a site just wanted a nice meal and a few drinks. Moved on and found a great free spot overlooking the sea and ate in the van.

Stayed a few times now and it's always great, best fish pie ever (in my opinion). Peaceful night but can get windy. Would definitely recommend.

Wow! Fantastic location with insanely level spaces to park for the night - in return for eating and drinking at the Bar/Restaurant of course. Food was lovely and staff sociable and very welcoming. This is RAF valley so be prepared for numerous overhead loud passes by the aircraft, quite quickly we got used to it. A short walk to beach and local town for shops etc. A nice location with an air of freedom to it - nice to sit in van and watch the wild bunnies hopping around outside as dusk moves in.

Trapped up here and asked the barmaid we could stay the night he replied no problems at all.Large car park, we parked furthest away from the Oyster catcher restaraunt nearest the road.Flat bays and put overhang over the grass.Had a couple of beers and some food in the cafe bar which is downstairs from the restaraunt.Reasonably good value.Near to RAF Valley so up earlier with the thunderous noise of the Hawks taking off.Loved it.

Free over night stay when using the pub/ restaurant. We found the staff friendly and the bar had a nice atmosphere. Right next to the sand dunes and the beach.

A little windswept but level ground and brilliant for a stopover with walking to clean beaches and a pleasant village with water sports in the bay. The food is good quality and a touch pricey but the staff are as courteous and helpful as could be.... we're staying tonight and looking forward to a peaceful sleep.

Cracking spot, rang beforehand to check, booked a table. Told to park on the left as you enter the car park. Nice and flat, great views, 2 min walk through the dunes to the beach. Really nice meal, spoke to the manager (real friendly guy) about stopping a second night, no problem. This place is a must if you're on Anglesey. They do ask that you take your rubbish home etc. But we should all leave as we find anyway.
