Had a lovely steak on a slab, warm welcome and nice atmosphere.
5 mins drive to The Downings where the beach is gorgeous.
Spent the evening here and the food was fantastic as was the atmosphere - then had the most peaceful nights sleep - totally silent and pitch black ! Cant recommend it enough !!View all reviews by mininan

Ehu if wanted great food in pub nice helpful staff would definitely recommend
Stopped for a pint, 9 euros for 2. Waited for it to open at 12, Food being served from 1 oclock. Lovely traditional, quaint pub in beautiful surroundings. Stopovers allowed, already 2 campervans there. But we decided to move on.View all reviews by gizzygirl
An old traditional Irish pub - very popular with local families. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food (especially fish and seafood) was excellent. Great atmosphere, and there was also live music from 9pm on the night we stayed.View all reviews by HappeeVanners
Parked in the (slightly sloping) carpark behind the pub - you need to drive through an automatic barrier to the left as you approach the building (it’s only there to slow cars down as they pass the children’s play area). Electric hookup wasn’t accessible because the car park was very busy - but if we had really wanted it, we are sure they would have made arrangements.
Great place to stay - free of charge, and definitely recommended.
Fantastic pub for a stop over the staff and owners are really helpful and friendly. A short drive to Downings beach. Very reasonable bar prices. Electric hook up only €5 per nightView all reviews by scottynwhite
