This is the most expensive of the two sites here. They are right next door to each other. This has the best views though. The frontline pitch views are uninterupted of Galway Bay. Water and drainage on the pitch. It is expensive though.
Bus into town from across the road, €2.40 per person one way, right into the city centre.
Didnt use showers, we have the van.
All services clean and spotless.

Lovely site with great views over Galway bay. Bring plenty of Euro coins as you will need them.
Bus service to Galway outside the campsite or you can walk depending how fit you are.

Didn't stop here so can't comment on facilities.
But I can comment on the location , view and price €25 to stay €6 for hook up extortion ! €1 for a shower. Do you're selfs a favour. 100 yards down the road right next door. O'Halloran"s caravan park. €28 all in have as many showers as you like all usual facilities bus stop right outside to Galway or walk the coastal path. Very helpful guy gave us a map and recommended pubs and restaurants. Would' recommend. This site was fairly quiet but O'Halloran"s next door was fairly busy tells a story !

Quite a large busy site but fine for a night or two if you want access to Galway city centre. Staff were friendly and excellent info leadlets on buses etc. Facilities were clean and the usual 1€ token for showers. You can walk the coastal path direct to city in about 35 mins and we got the last bus at 11.30 back to the site.
Ok...not the greatest site ever but if you want to visit Galway it’s perfectly acceptable.

Read some bad reviews about this site so was pleasantly surprised when the staff were friendly and the site not too busy. Very clean facilities and lovely location on the beach, a short walk into Salthill. Only negative was the cost €32 including EHU but €1 extra for showers and even 50 cents for hot water to wash up! Washing machines and tumble dryers €5 euros each.

Good site close to Galway centre which is fantastic and only a 2:40 euro bus ride in.
On the negative side its 50 cents to wash your pots, and they jam you in like sardines.
