|The Anchor Inn is situated close to the Leeds Liverpool Canal, hence the name! Our large beer garden, with new benches and a pagoda, is perfect for enjoying the sunshine whilst the kids enjoy our new outside play area. We're close to Anchor Locks Garden Centre, Malham Cove & the Steam Railway, so make sure you drop in soon to sample our fine hospitality & a tasty, great value pub meal!|

Stayed on Sat night & as long as you park away from the road the noise is greatly reduced (though its not bad anyway). Decent pub (toilets just inside front door, so no need to go "right in" ;-) Nice food, good beer & free so not a lot more you can ask for really.View all reviews by northernspirit
Stayed here for Saturday night, had nice walk along the canal and a meal in the pub. Normal brewers fayre food so ok. Bit of noise from road but didn't bother us. l went in the pub on arrival to check we could stay and told it was fine.View all reviews by tempo
Really big car park which was good for us as we’re nearly 10m long.View all reviews by sibantam
Close to Gargrave village which has a couple of pubs that do food, small supermarket an Indian restaurant and a fish and chip shop. Also buses running in to Skipton and a train station but not sure how often they run.
Only downside is that it’s close to the road but became fairly quiet in the evening. No cost and no obligation to buy food/drink from the pub.
