As others have said, small aire with facilities, I prefer the adjacent carpark which is also used. The Guardia Civil called around regularly which is reassuring. Dont arrive on a Sunday, it is hectic. Brilliant beach within 200m. Approx 2 mile walk or cycle into RotaView all reviews by paulholt57
A pleasant aire, which is free. Nearby there is a fuel station which also has a small shop. An easy walk to the beach.View all reviews by lonicera
Another update. Outside washing machines and tumble dryer now available at Dia super market close to the new Aldi store in Rota.View all reviews by scamman
A return visit for us to a great town with a great Aire, we stayed on the overflow close to the beach as the Aire was full. The water tap was not working but a standpipe has been put in.View all reviews by jezabel
Update from my last review if you require LPG there is a local station that now sales gas suitable for large outfits. on the main road A491 3 miles from Rota.View all reviews by scamman

May 2017. Great quiet free aire 50m from sea. 2-3 mile safe bike ride from Rota harbour which has a catamaran ferry over to cadiz priced at €5.60 return! Has all the water and disposal points you could need. The town is a nice place to visit.View all reviews by BettyBolero

As said before if Aire is full use car park 100 yards away very quiet police pass daily but no problems.View all reviews by scamman
A great stopover. There seems to be two parts to this stopover, the area by the service facilities and a parking area to the right at the roundabout. We stayed on the larger area to the right at the roundabout. The parking bays are long enough for most vehicles to use, quite easily up to 9 metres.View all reviews by sprokit
This area is even closer to the beach, which has boardwalks along the top if you don't fancy getting sand between your toes. There is a cycle path which takes you all the way into Rota for shopping and bars/restaurants.
The noise from the occasional aircraft taking off/landing at the Naval Air Station may be off putting for some, but it really is not that intrusive.
There is a CEPSA fuel station close by which also has a small shop selling basics.
Great stop only 50m from the beach. Well lit and safe at night with a couple of drive throughs by the police each night. 2 mile walk along a beautiful beach to Rota, a pleasant town with lots of vars and shops. Services available are free, no hook up.View all reviews by alanthornton
Free parking and service point 200m from long sandy beach just off road. There is a petrol station just opposite and a bar/restaurant a few minutes walk inland up the road. There is a cycle path into the town which is a few KM's. For a nicer spot, and quieter night, there is a free car-park just round the corner from the aire with direct access to the beach via wooden steps. We have stayed there twice with other campers with no bother from the Guardia.View all reviews by samwillis17
