Totally agree with previous reviews. Great place to stop when visiting Ljubljana. Bus terminus right outside. Number 13 bus right into the old town. 13 to Sosta for the return journey. Food is a 3 course meal for 10 or 11 euro. Choice of 4 changing items including ribs (belly pork) or turkey or risotto. If it looks full ask. They will try not to turn you away. If you park near the pigs and goats you may be disturbed by the snoring at nightView all reviews by ericwhitfield
Stayed here 2 nights. Great camper stop with excellent facilities. Easy to get into town, only €2:40 on the bus for a return ticket. Great food, free to stay if you have a meal, otherwise €10 per night.View all reviews by rael
Stayed here in May 2017. A convenient stop over if you are visiting Ljubljana. The meal we had in the restaurant was average but filled a gap and gave us a free night's parking. The set menu is €10 per head, however, we had extras on top that pushed our price up to €38. There was a birthday party on the night we were there so the staff were busy, however it did mean we had a flavour of Slovenian music! The night was long as I heard the church bell chime every quarter hour and more chimes rang on the hour! Hubby slept through most of them. Bus service was good and our card that we got from the restaurant also gave us one free river cruise if we wanted it - we didn't. The wifi didn't reach the van but was OK in the restaurant. Shower and toilet are unisex and very clean. 80 cents for the shower which provides 30 litres; we found that sufficient.View all reviews by lynnspain
Really well organised set up. Level hardstanding pitches with elec. mag service point, toilet, shower (payable.). 10 Euro per night or free if you eat in restaurant. You're given a city ma on arrival and can get a card for the bus (pay the bus fare plus refundable deposit for the card. Bus starts / terminates outside the site. Unlike the rev reviewer we didn't notice much early morning noise but our pitch was furthest from the road.View all reviews by georgia11
An excellent stopover for the city on the outskirts, with good bus transport, every 20 mins. It's bus number 13 and we would recommend you getting off at the Tourist info just before the Dragon Bridge. The return bus goes from the other side of the bridge. You buy a card from the Pub which you use for your fare and you hand it back when you leave. The site is a bit noisy first thing in the morning as transport moves through the village and the pigs and goats wake up, although for the price - all inclusive we thought it was an excellent spot and was far better than the commercial site the authorised of town, which is close to the motorway, railway line and the busy, out of town main road. Recommend for a trip into Ljubljana, although you may need two nights as the city has lots to explore.View all reviews by themotoroamers
Stopped for the night as planned on going into city. We arrived around 3pm and parking area was already full. Managed to squeeze next to two other motorhomes on access road before parking area. Another three arrived after us and were squeezed into the service area. So reassuring that you're not likely to be turned away.View all reviews by jwhite
We ate in the restaurant. Don't know if they only do their set menu, but as campers that's all we were offered. It cost €9 for soup, choice of ribs (pork chops!), goulash or schnitzel with mash veg and a side salad, followed by water melon. We didn't find the food that great, we've had better (and cheaper) since being in Slovenia. In hindsight we'd have just paid to stay. There is a little childrens play area in the nice outdoor seating area.
Toilet and shower area looked nice and clean and had services point for water and waste.
NB. You may want to bring earplugs if staying as the village church bells seem to run until 11pm then start up again at 6am!
Great stopover and real bargain compared to local campsite charging €15 per person plus tax plus garbage, the pub charge €10 per night inc EHU or free if you eat in the restaurant (prices very good). Bus into the city is just outside the door and costs €2.40 for return ticket, 20 minute ride.View all reviews by alanrh
