Parking tolerated. Large open car park, a little uneven in places but mostly level. No services but great spot almost on the beach.

Parking is free for 24 hours - see photo. A large flat parking area with around 15 motorhomes in the rear car park and behind them another 15 when we were there. A good stop close to the markets, bars and restaurants plus the harbour. We cycled to the nature park and spent 4 hours there exploring the nature trails, well worth the 2 euros 80 fee to get in. Take a picnic and enjoy. The parking is quiet and friendly.

Another visit to this wonderful town, parking is still tolerated but not in the carpark at the front. We had 2 nights with maybe 50 vans on a very wet carpark but everyone is friendly. The town is typical Portuguese with a daily fish market as well as a fruit and veg market. Boat trips to the Ria Formosa national park from the lovely Marina. Fantastic fish restaurant Vai e Volta, fresh barbecued fish as much as you can eat of the best catches of the day but no choice, set menu €10 our favourite.

Spent a peaceful night in Oct 17. There is a Police Station just on the corner of the road turning into the car park. My wife went in and asked if it was ok to overnight. The office said as long as you park on the dirt at the rear of the car park. There were about 15 other vans already there. A great town with a lovely promenade and market. Loads of little bars and restaurants. Superb.

May 2017. Went to stay here and had a good look around the town which is great - quite unlike most other places we have been with a long jetty running parallel to the prom with boats moored up. Probably more eating houses and cafes than residents! Lots of tiled houses and an OK place to visit - nice prom. However, when we got back to the van, several of our neighbouring vans had left (5pm). We noticed that there were several "no motorhome or caravan" signs up, so we thought best to move on.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in March. Part of the carpark at the front has been fenced but the police are still tolerating parking on the rest of the huge piece of wasteland.

Parking still tolerated here, police called and politely asked us to move to the area at the back on the day we arrived, turned out they had a digger and workmen in the next day to lay hardcore and level all the pot holes. Whilst here if you like fish eat at the restaurant Vai-e-Volta no choice but as much fresh barbecued fish as you can eat, along with a starter , potatoes, salad and the local boiled bread. Only open lunch time.

Not an official site but well used by motorhomes as seen in the photo. Car park is opposite beach and marina next to police station. The town right behind the site and has all the shops and restaurants you'd expect. Great place to visit.
