Our second night stop over here. We knew that we would be charged on entry, and if staying overnight we would incur a second charge collected by toll collector on way out, a camper van it was £5 in and £5 out the next morning. Motor Homes are charged £10 in, and if staying overnight £10 on leaving. Toll keeper was checking the area at 5:45am on the morning we left. No facilities or toilets. There is a cafe open from 10am until 5pm. You can only use the toilet if you are a paying customer, and will have to request a key. We were very happy to pay for the setting alone. We love Penmon point :) We’ve recently heard that they are thinking of changing the lighthouse bell for a fog horn :/View all reviews by kajay
We decided to head for this location due to good reviews, we were not disappointed, narrow road heading up to the toll man/lady, she said no camping but if you do we’ll charge you £10 on the way out (wink wink), arrived Thursday evening 4thJuly to find other campers and cars but still plenty room, Friday most had gone so nice and quite, the lighthouse will dong every 30secs but you forget it’s there, cafe rather expensive but understandable due to its location, will be going back. Lovely sunset!View all reviews by johnimac
the start of our tour of anglesey. welcomed by a cheery chap at the toll, very friendly and bubbly (not what we expected from reading the previous reviews). he spoke at length about the area to us and we had a laugh with him he even held the traffic up for us so we could finish our conversation ????View all reviews by duettos1
we got charged £5 in and £5 out. the cost does unfortunatley goes on the size of your unit.
cafe was really expensive and too busy. collect key for toilet from till (after purchase only!) beware you have to wait for the previous person to bring it back to the till before you can go, thats if theres no queue for the key!
beautiful location saw porpoise and seals, puffins. take binoculars!
Our 2nd attempt to Penmon, the 1st time we thought it rather expensive for just the afternoon, so decided to give it another go.View all reviews by angelapeter
£10 in and the toll keeper said it would be £10 on our way out the following day, however we left after taking our sunrise pictures.
It was well worth the charges fir the beautiful sunset, we didnt however get to see the bio luminous plankton. I would also presume that the toll keeper went home at 6pm for the amount of dog walkers and later the plankton visitors it became very busy.
On reaching this area, we were met with a very official sign prohibiting caravans, motorhomes etc so we turned round and went to beaumaris instead.View all reviews by Besza

For motorhome to go in. Got money out and he then said it was £10 to get out in the morning as well. So we left. BEWARE

Can get busy with photographers catching the sunrise....
Didn't quite get there, we drove up the toll road and the charge was £10 for motorhomes & campervans. As we couldn't check out Penmon Point before camping we just turned around and went elsewhere.View all reviews by elementalsurfer
