Cannot recommend enough. Had a really lovely stay, genuinely warm welcome, delicious good value food and a very quiet night's sleep.View all reviews by Dicegirly
The pub is right across the road from the Edinburgh park and ride, so very handy if you want to stay then go into the city. Very flat car park and free of charge stay when eating in the pub, which does 2 for 1 on most meals, so very good value. Not much of a view, and there are the beginnings of a new housing estate nearby, so might be noisier in the future.
We will definitely be returning here.
Friendly welcome and good food.View all reviews by vshelton
Had a quiet nights sleep in the corner of the car park.
Had a great 2 night stay at this really nice pub. Staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we stepped through the door. Meal prices were very cheap as a 2 for 1 offer on most meals. Car park was nice and quite at night and had 2 good night's sleep.View all reviews by GordonElrick
I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay close to Edinburgh. Bus commute £1.70 single took about 25 mins to centre of city.
Would definitely stay again when up that way
Spent a night there after going for a meal . Large carpark with plenty of space for motorhomes of any size . Food and staff were excellent and food was very good value for money . There is a park and ride across the road . I would highly recommend staying there if visit the area or passing through.View all reviews by georgeangela
Good pub stop for an overnight just off Edinburgh bypass, good value pub food (Marstons) and across the road to ParknRide. Quiet area ,flat car park and friendly staff make this a perfect stop for Edinburgh or when travelling up or down the A1. Look forward to use it again soon.View all reviews by mohohobo
Best value overnight spot when visiting Edinburgh! Less than 20.00 paid for two meals and drinks Justturn up as the carpark is so big...and flat. Dogs are allowed and there are plenty of grassy areas. park and ride opens at 6.45 so toilets available early. . The staff here are most welcoming, mega friendly and efficient. Don’t pass it by!View all reviews by bishland

Stayed 2 nights: very friendly. Extensive menu & if you register online with Marsdens you get a free pud. They did a2 for 1 offer on meals also. Enormous tarmac level carpark & quiet at night. Well lit & feels safe. Right next to the park & Ride also.View all reviews by vivagibbo
We cycled to nearest train station at shawfair - one mile easy ride & got cheap day return to Edinburgh £3.90 each & took bikes on train. Would Definitely recommend this stop over. Dog friendly also.
