great stopover fir Badajoz. next to the river and easy access in to town via the bridge. cafe/bar next to it does lovely tostada in the morning very reasonably priced. be warned water pressure on CDP tap is very good so you may get wet. easy access grey waste and fresh water available too. supermarket available in town. max stay 96 hours bins and recycling etc at top of Aire. several spaces available when we left at 9.30. would use again.

Our 2nd visit to this aire which has now been extended to accommodate 20+ vans and has a re-vamped free service area. It can still get busy and there were only about 6 spaces left when we arrived at 1.15pm on a Thursday. The sign states you can stay 72-96 hours. Great spot, lovely walks, near town, bar adjacent what more can you ask for. Stayed 3 nights, busy 1st day, quiet the other two.

Great free area reserved for motor-homes. Beautiful location next to river and old pedestrian bridge with access to the old town. Cafe next door for breakfast etc. Water and sewage dump but no electricity or toilets.
Fairly quiet when we were there (July) but council workers clean the riverside late in the evening and can be a bot noisy.

Stopped to visit the old town. Location is by the river and we had no problems parking our MH which is 7.6 m, we did not stay over as moving on but it felt safe and as other reviews have said in a good location

First class free Aire with services, lovely setting by river and close to town. Friendly bar / cafe by riverside too, doesn’t get much better than this.

Great aire in a good location. Just a short walk over the bridge to the old town. Shops and bar/cafe very close and set adjacent to a park next to the river with various recreational facilities. Would definitely recommend.

Liked it very much. Will visit again. When we were there they were just putting in another six parking spaces. Nice views of park and old bridge. Lots of people getting their excerise in the evening. Levelling blocks needed. Quiet at night. Worth a walk over the bridge. Lots of terrapins swimming in the river.

Arrived midday and the road in and the Aire itself were very busy, no spaces left and some cars using them. Looks like they are expanding the area so may be easier to find a spot in the future. We didn’t stay so can’t comment on services.

Great spot for visiting the old and new town of Badajoz. Free parking in 9 marked bay right near the river and lovely parkland with sports facilities and nice walks. Free service point including fresh water. There is a bar adjacent on the riverside and another about 5 minutes walk towards the new town. Nice spot you can stay up to 72 hours. Gets busy so arrive early.

Good, clean and well positioned place for overnight. Historic town is accessed via the pedestrian bridge alongside the site. There are 9 marked bays but would be tightly packed if full. View is across the river with a popular playground in front which stayed fairly noisy until 11:30 pm, so don't expect quiet. Slightly sloping so ramps useful. We would be happy to revisit but not to stay for more than one night.
