Ideally situated near canal. Good walks to both Taunton and Bridgewater. Bus links back which stop near the new mill pub. Pub excellent food and dogs welcome in there. If you book a table online for the pub it is for the restaurant, you can eat in the bar without booking.View all reviews by sarahrobinson
Site is great for a few nights. Not the best of welcomes. Owners miserable on arrival and on day of departure 1031hrs,
owner came to see what time we were going (off by 1030). Toilet block ok served its purpose. Peacocks roaming which was nice.
Aldi near to site, walking distance. All in all good weekend. Not many dog friendly pubs in taunton or bridgewater. No pubs on canal either way but a tea shop at one of locks.
Really nice site. £14 per night for two in a campervan without electric. Some traffic noise from the nearby A38 but it didnt bother us. Lovely setting with a variety of peacocks, guinea fowl etc. Spacious pitch under the apple trees. Mix of mobile homes, caravans, campers and tents. Toilets and showers clean and functional. Water point, chemical disposal. Very relaxing location. We cycled from the site to Bridgwater along the canal - 25 mile round trip. The site is really close to the canal.View all reviews by vstewart
Just spent 2 nights here. Lovely site, clean facilities. Great 2 nights sleep. Beautiful setting in an orchard.View all reviews by thompsonpicnic
Beautiful setting under the apple trees. A mixture of tents, caravans, Motorhomes and statics on site. A new housing estate being built around the site which was a little noise during the day and in places overlooks the orchard. New toilet block with hot showers. Plenty of electric points. The owners were friendly and helpful and clearly keen to develop this little gem of a site. Ohh and 4 year old cider at £1 a pint. Short walk to supermarket, public house and into town. £18.00 pn for 4 + elecView all reviews by swanny65
Parked in the orchard where their apples are grown. Cider was for sale at £1/pint. Also got fresh eggs 6 for £1. Basic but decent for price.View all reviews by ben9090
Lots of peacocks which were very vocal in the morning!
We stayed here for a night stop over heading to Cornwall, not as rural as we expected, new housing built over the road.View all reviews by bmars10
Park as you like in the orchard for £10 without ehu didn't get to try the cider as nothing open when we arrived but nice stop over with good pubs nearby.
Toilet/shower block in cider field needs pulling down!!
Potentially this could be a brilliant site ! Just very run down and scruffy when we went in November . Ok so weather wasn't good but this site looked very sad , with some perminant workers staying there and the owners not the most friendliest !View all reviews by gillybeans
No evidence we saw of cider making or for sale , but maybe only in season .
As a location this place is amazing , down the road from the canal and nice walks and pub .
Would like to go again maybe when weather is better
A lovely little rural style campsite set in an orchard on a cider farm. Hot showers 30p, dogs 50p each, washing machine £3, dryer £1. Informal camping for tents, motorhomes or caravans park where you like no pitches. Cider available to buy bring your own container and I paid £6.80 for 5 litres at 6.5%. Canal with tow path walks 200m asda less than a mile. Central Taunton 3 miles. Pub about half a mile. Peacocks, guineafowl geese on site. Fresh eggs available. Had a lovely two nights here. Will return.View all reviews by samwillis17
