We had a lovely level pitch on stones, close to the amenities which were very clean but sparse (2 toilets each + 2 unisex showers). Being down a narrow lane out of the village, it was very quiet & therefore a long way from any shops, eateries or public transport.

Secluded site with good facilities and really friendly hosts. The site is 1/2 mile down a single track road so unsuitable for caravans although we had no problems in our 6 metre motorhome. The access is steep but easy to negotiate. We used the level hard-standing with well distributed electricity points. There are toilets for gentlemen and ladies (2) and two separate showers accessible to both sexes. Both showers have good benches and several hooks for hanging clothes. There is also a day room with microwave and refrigerators and washing up facilities. The farm has alpaca, ponies, goats and chickens. Free range eggs are available. There is also a great cat called "Charlie". The owners are really friendly and eager to ensure that the stay is enjoyable. The site is convenient to Bideford with its park, covered market, Morrisons and Asda amongst other stores. Nowhere is within easy walking distance so be prepared to drive. There is a really good family cafe called "The Rock Pool" in Westward Ho! and the Brewers Fayre in Atlantic Village is recommended. The Maritime Museum in Appledore is well worth a visit and our grandchildren had a great day at "The Big Sheep". All in all, a lovely site in a really nice area.

Real hidden away gem. Down a small country Lane about 3/4 mile from the A39 at Fairy Cross (where the bus stop is). Steep driveway into the site but level gravel area to park on with electric hook-up. Good powerful shower and separate ladies and gents toilets. There is a communal shed with honesty fridges, washing up facilities, table & chairs and lots of local leaflets. There is a big pen with lots of chickens, four alpacas' running free around the site goats and Shetland ponies. On the grass area there are benches set out to relax on amongst the alpacas'. Peter and Debbie could not be more friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.
