Does exactly as described.
Flat car park. Honesty box £5. Easy walk into town. We found it noisy overnight with the delivery depot behind.

one night having travelled over from Whitley bay. Arrived about 10pm but it was full of cars. Returned at 11pm and found a spot to park up. Popped into bar which was very lively! Spoke to lovely lady at the bar and asked if okay to park and paid her £5.. It was a noisy stop as bar emptied after midnight. There was also road noise as this stop is on a main road. However, it was a great place to stop for Kendal town and a bargain at £5. Would use again.

Stayed here twice this month. Kendal is lovely and the cricket club is lovely, a very short walk in to town but open the door on to the cricket green. An honesty box £5 donation per day makes this a bargain. A pub right opposite if, like us, you operate a no poo loo policy in your van ????

Just spent a night at the cricket club, the cost for a night is now £5.00.
We will defo park here again as the people were very friendly as was everyone in Kendal that we spoke to.
We are a 50s couple with a 7.5 meter motorhome spending 1 night passing through on the way back home to Scotland and we will defo spend another few days in the near future checking out this lovely part of the UK.
The rates are varied because there are no facilities after the club shuts, it is a car park ! but if your van is self sufficient then its perfect for a couple or 3 days to check out the local area.

We stopped here for one night on Friday 8th September - Great location walked into Kendal on Saturday and visited the market and local shops - walk takes about 5 minutes.
Very friendly staff in the club who made us feel welcome.
parking is within the main club carpark - we parked with ease however if club in being used over the weekend for matches it can be hard / impossible to get in or out until the event has finished and people vacate the car park.
Honesty box for when club is closed

Really handy stopping point on the edge of town, not far from the M6. It was a bit crowded with club members on a Saturday but the car park cleared early evening leaving plenty of space. Easy walk into town for pubs & restaurants. Absolute bargain at £3 so we'll be staying there again on our way to Scotland from the Midlands :) Loos available when clubhouse open, water tap available 24/7 but not accessible to MH, you need to use a can or aquaroll etc.

Great location near town centre. 3 of us arrived for an overnight stay on the way back from the lakes. The second team were playing, so a few more cars on the car park. There is a big skip on site, but no water or waste emptying.
The refurbished clubhouse looks really nice. A great spot

Absolutely great spot. Really nice guy in the spanking newly refurbished clubhouse was very accommodating & helpful. Plenty of room on good hard standing with just a short walk into town, just a shame there's no EHU or water/disposal as that would be great. Loads of pubs & a couple of nice curry houses close by
