Good CL/CS standard facilities, with the added bonus of a "Games" Room. We visited in March, only 5 units in total present, think facilities may be rather crowded in summer when 12+ units, plus tents! Every pitch has a view over the valley. As mentioned by others (and, by Owner when checking availability), best to approach from Skipton. Easy walk into Skipton, either along road, or, along Canal Towpath. Skipton a lively place, with many eating/drinking options. In 2019, price £17/night incl EHU.

Great canalside location within walking distance of Skipton. A pleasant canalside walk to town centre 40 mins. Good facilities, shower 50p 10 mins. Picnic benches next to the pitch.

Lovely campsite but with a warning. If you are a long MH, the access is problematic. It's not the approach from the road, but getting over the canal. We grounded twice as we entered because of a high ramp to get onto and then off the bridge. 4 loos (2 ladies and 2 gents) and 2 showers (50p for 10 mins, hot, but not very powerful). Facilities could be stretched if the site is busy. Very open site with good hardstanding, so can be windy. Short ehu cable needed and easy water and grey dump.

Good location as it’s short walk to Skipton. Facilities were ok. On gents toilet which wasn’t cleaned during the two nights stay. And pay for showers?? The drive from road to the pitch is Interesting to say the least.

Enjoyed a 2 night stay, in this lovely location. It's gone up to £15 pn, but well worth it. Skipton is one of our favourite places only a hour and a half drive for us from Cleveleys, we will definitely be going again.

Lovely little site with all facilities. Half an hour walk into Skipton. If you can't walk too far taxis are available but most will not take your pooches so here is a dog friendly number which was given to me- Susan 01756 799030

Nearly two year since I was here last and it's still £13 a night, just like to point out again that it is VERY tight if you turn in from your left, please approach from Skipton, you will be straight then ready for crossing the swing bridge

Spent Two nights here on new hard standings, need levelling blocks though. A pleasant walk into Skipton along the canal with plenty of pubs and cafes. Skipton castle is great to visit with children and there is a lovely walk through the castle woods.

Location is spot on, right on the Leeds-Liverpool canal just 20 mins walk into lovely market town of Skipton with good range of shops and pubs. Morrisons supermarket is 15 mins walk along the road. Walk opposite way along canal to Gargrave took us 1 1/2 hours. Also walk along canal past Skipton to pub about 1 hour. Site has toilets and one shower but the building is not heated so we just used our own in October. Levelling blocks will be required for hard standing pitches. Our van is 7.5m and had to swing out onto opposite side of the road to get striaght enough to cross the canal bridge. If the road is busy it may be better turning around at Morrisons or the train station and approaching from the Skipton end. Reversing back out into the road is dodgy as its on a bend.

Just spent 3 nights at this site, £13 a night for motorhome with 2 people, EHU included, no charge for dogs or awnings, toilet and shower block with a 50p charge for showers. could work out a bit pricey if more than 2 people in a van - see website for prices.
Fabulous views from site, situated right on the canal.
Tents accepted in adjacent field (see photo)
They also have a holiday barn and a few newly built cottages.
Skipton is a lovely market town and is 1.3 mile from the site, we walked along the canal to get there and it took us 20 mins, you could go the road way and it will be about the same distance but it is quite a busy road and there is no footpath in places, we did see buses going past the site but not sure if they stop anywhere near the site entrance, http://www.welcometoskipton.com/
One word of warning, if you have a large unit or towing a caravan, you will be better coming in from Skipton end, the turn is quite sharp from the A59 side and you need to get straight on as you enter the site over a swing bridge, I managed OK though with my van which is 21 foot.
