Arrived in the dark & felt a little unsure about this place, but stayed as it was late and frosty. Had an uneventful night, two or three cars visited but didn’t stay long, road noise eased off later. It looked better in the morning, close to the river and the village.View all reviews by oldbluevanman
Stayed here overnight on a Saturday so noise very little on Sunday morning. Walked along river to The Brown Trout for 1 beer, very local. Went in search for another pub & stumbled across the a very friendly pub called The Black Horse. No food but the most unbelievably cheap pints. 2 pints got 4.50 ( cider + bitter). Very friendly localsView all reviews by debbiehar
Stayed here for 1 afternoon and night (slept peacefully!). Excellent off-road spacious layby which appears regularly maintained. Looked as though toilets were permanently closed (and vandalised!) Noise was not a problem...just rush hour traffic. Used by dog walkers, but plenty of room. Went into Willington for fish and chips as previous users and can recommend it. Near river, with walks and picnic tables away from road. Will definitely visit againView all reviews by sagalout
Nice enough location. Little bit of noise from the nearby road but nothing to worry about.View all reviews by toxinufa
Car park empty apart from us, just a few dog walkers in the morning.
A little road noise but nothing to worry about. Toilet needs a radar key. Lovely riverside and I wandered a little upstream in the morning and saw otters playing. Mostly used by dog walkers.View all reviews by pipete
Stayed here overnight, it was quite enough but there was early morning traffic. There was a butty van in the car park in the morning . It is further off the road than it looks in the photos. We visited the chippie in the town of Willington called the golden fish inn about a mile away. The good was excellent and highly recommended. Would use againView all reviews by irishwales
