Good size pitches, some fully serviced. Helpful and friendly staff/owner. Good walking and Cycling nearby. Accepts ACSI Card. At ACSI rates (£20/night) it is OK, but, "full" rate (£31/night) is expensive for what it is IMHO. Lots of road noise, from early to late, from adjacent road, locals do not seem to use silencers on their vehicles!. Busy road appears to encourage "on site dog walking" which I personally deplore.View all reviews by kenreay
Convenient location. Easy to access from M27. Great for both Southampton and Portsmouth. Clean shower block but water pressure low. Nice pitches with all facilities. Very open, little shade or windbreak. Dog walking difficult, both on and off site. Very pleasant and helpful owners. Will stop again.View all reviews by onlyjen
Excellent stop over site for ferries. Very helpful, efficient and friendly staff. Clean and tidy site. Big pitches. Easy access for a big motorhome and easy exit at 6am. Will definately use again.View all reviews by Concorde47
In my opinion not a Holiday Site lacks any walking distance facilities but is excellent for the Portsmouth Ferry and we have used the site three times over the past two years. Toilets and showers basic but clean and the pitches good size. There is a Pub about 3/4 mile away which serves excellent food but the lane to it dangerous to walk. The Staff are very friendly but there are obvious signs of Workmen using the site as a base when working this end of the country.View all reviews by dave2951
Excellent stop-over site for Portsmouth ferries. Very good washroom facilities, spotlessly clean. Fully serviced pitches, with lots of large hard standings. Noisy road, not a holiday siteView all reviews by greenbunion
Perfect overnight spot for the Portsmouth Ferries. Well laid out campsite with some fully serviced pitches.View all reviews by mobie15
Had 4 nights on this site and all in all not a bad site, toilet and showers all ok, has launderette which we didn't use, pitches are a mixture of grass and hardstanding with electric hook up and water and waste water posts although ours (pitch 8) took ages to drain but looking at the state of the drain cover it was not surprising (pretty caked with slime and sludge). Staff are friendly and helpful.View all reviews by gillanschoice
Site has chemical waste point opposite reception which is undercover so no getting wet if raining.
Don't know much about the area apart from there is a tescos up the road which is big and they do petrol and diesel, as we spent most our time in gosport visiting family.
All in all a good little site that serves its purpose and I would go back if in the area.
