Nice pub, friendly staff, great food, and dog-friendly. Reasonably flat car park with lovely views of the adjacent sheep field. The only drawback I had was I arrived on a Saturday night when they were hosting a Birthday party for 150 guests in the garden and they had a band on in the pub! So the place was heaving and noisy until about midnight.View all reviews by iKimbo
Great stopover 2 hours from channel tunnel. Friendly staff, pub is a little rustic but good food and hospitality. 4 miles off M40 bus stop outside pub, would definitely come again if only for the location.View all reviews by steveh

Stopped here on the way home, what a fantastic night. Large car park at the rear, plenty of room. Had some great food and a live band on, who were superb. Cant fault this place, we will be back.
On our way back from France we were looking for somewhere to stop over and break the journey up. Phoned in advance just to check that they still had room and were still serving food as it was a Saturday night, was told it was all OK and food was served until 8.45pm, perfect for us.... Arrived at 8.20pm grabbed a table and when we asked for food we were told that the kitchen was closed this evening due to a function, what a waste of our time, i wish that some people would just be honest.... Then decided to leave and find food elsewhere, as it happens we stumbled accross a fantastic indian restaurant and then drove through the night to get home.View all reviews by tonywadd
Stopped over in Moho on way back from the Lake District. Super friendly pub and lively and busy for a Tuesday evening. Food and atmosphere was great, landlord and all staff very warm and welcoming and a nice big car park to stay in with lovely views out the back. Would definitely stop again.View all reviews by philippa
A bit jubious at first but after parking up round the back and going in for a drink we soon knew this was a nice place to stop. Food excellent.View all reviews by pmartin172
The young lad serving at the bar was excellent and a credit to his employer. Well cosy inside with a good atmosphere. The owner was also very friendly and nice to talk to. Will visit again soon. Recommend a great pub stop-over and great food and company. Car park not very kevel so you will need Your chocks.
Nice friendly pub with good food. Publican took time to introduce himself on a busy night and made sure we were looked after. Good hard standing at rear of pub. No noise from road. Small supermarket just down the road and near the hellfire caves!View all reviews by holiday2018
Didn’t stay in ththe car park but on the road outside instead as there wasn’t any room! Pub staff were very friendly as were the locals. Main road was noisy, but might have been better if we stayed in the car park.View all reviews by aniesteph

The pub has a "local" feel and was busy on Wednesday evening when we stayed. Some nights are live music nights so possibly loud but worth considering
