A lovely Britstop. We did need levelling blocks. We arrived and discovered they were about to do a tour of the vineyard and winery, with a wine tasting at the end. Very enjoyable, especially knowing that we didn’t need to drive afterwards! It was Black Friday and they had cases of one of the wines at 1/2 price, for the day, so that’s Christmas sorted! Also bought a few other bottles of different wines. Our free stopover ended up with us spending a fair amount of money, but well worth it. Would definitely recommend this Britstop. Excellent dog walks around the vineyard. Ring ahead and see if you can arrange to get there for a tour.View all reviews by Suziegh
Leuke plaats en lekkere wijn met zicht op de wijngaarden wat wil je nog meer.View all reviews by tira01
Excellent free stopover - well we did buy some wine but given the wonderful quality of the white, that was no hardship. We found a level part of the carpark to stop in without much difficulty. The village and local pub (New Inn) are worth the walk. Very friendly and welcoming. There is a toilet during shop opening hours.View all reviews by neilburton
This is a Brit Stop. Nice quiet car park, pretty slopey though. Very pretty, overlooks vines. We did a wine tasting prior to buying some wines. Did the self tour which is basically a map and some info on what vines you are looking at. Very pleasant walk. You can also get preserves etc here. People are really friendly. Need to arrive before 5pm. Would return.View all reviews by sallyw
Stayed overnight here after attending one of their tours and guided tasting sessions - which was great!View all reviews by billoreilly
This was prior to the Britstops arrangement and we just asked in advance if we could bring the motorhome and stay the night. After all, driving home after a wine tasting would not be sensible!!
Unless they have changed things then there are no facilities but there's a reasonably level car park to use and they were happy for us to walk round the vineyard with our dog.
No idea if there is now a charge but there wasn't when we stayed. Very friendly staff - and the wine is good too!
