Emailed ahead to book prior to our visit. All ok landlord responsive, all good. Arrived at the pub friday evening only to find we could not get into the car park due to being very full and cars parked on road, would advise to steer clear on a Friday night unless you're there early or you have a small campervan!! Pub looked very nice though

Great pub with friendly staff. Food and drink is top notch. Friday nights are extremely busy. The third Sunday morning of the month is a classic car meet which again fills the car park.
If you like to walk there is tracks that you can use next to the pub. we had a good Sunday lunch in the Indian Restaurant opposite. We have used this twice in the last couple of months. Matthew and his staff are always welcoming.

We visited here on 27th January and found the staff to be very relaxed about us staying in the carpark over night in our motorhome. The car park was quite spacious and we had no problems parking. We spent the afternoon/early evening in the pub and ate a wonderful meal there. The food was excellent and the atmosphere in the pub was extremely relaxed with a lovely mix of people and dogs. We would happily stay here again and again!!!

Excellent pub! The staff and service are great. We didn’t eat but the menu looks very good. The planes are not noisy, we barely heard them in our VW Camper van.

What a great place, very busy on a Friday night, food and beer really good and not to expensive. The landlady and staff were very accommodating, even though the pub car park was rammed and we thought we wouldn't get parked, they opened the gate for us to the overflow car park in the field, the grass was very wet so we didn't want to get bogged in. So they were very happy for us to just put the back of our van over into the overflow car park through the gate and we left the front of the van on the tarmack. Friendly service, very good and accommodating staff. We did phone ahead first just to let them know we were coming. A plus is If you like planes, you are just 5 min drive away from the Gatwick Airport and the end of runway 08R. We parked up here and stood on our roof of our van both at night when we arrived and in the morning when we left, awesome fun, you can almost touch the planes.....and can see right into the airport. Right pair of sad plane spotters but the roar of engines is fantastic, watching an A380 coming into land right over your heads is amazing.
