One of our favourite sites, we visit at least 3 times a season. Flat, grass paddock right on the canal lock. Short walk to the pub and a nice flat 2 mile walk along the canal to Whitchurch.

This is a 5 unit site. In the photos it is on the left. The caravans on the right are a different site for the boating community.
Cost £12 and £2 extra for electric. Showers take 50p coins for 6 minutes.
Small, neat and tidy. Owner/Manager is very pleasant.
This is a site you want to go to if unwind is the order of the day. Totally peaceful and relaxing and thoroughly recommended. Two pubs within walking distance and about 1 mile from town centre.
The site is part of the MCC club, so there are discounts if you are a member.

Great little site right next to Grindley Brook locks just north of Whitchurch. £13 per night inc electric, clean toilet and shower also on site. Grass only but owner has tractor with winch if you get stuck. Not really suitable for children as no play area and no fence to canal side. Cafe, shop and pub just a few minutes walk away. Great for walks along the canal or just sit and watch the boats. Pleasant little market town of Whitchurch is a couple of miles away along the canal and well signed footpath right into the centre.
Only open during British summer time April to October.
