Quiet site with limited services in a lovely location beside Rutland Water (you’ll be lucky to get a pitch with a view). Beautiful little village with a shop and pub (decidely average) withthin walking distance.View all reviews by stevef1968

Stayed one night whilst attending an event next door at the sailing club.View all reviews by dago
Great site in lovely location. Easy access to around the lake walking or cycling. Rates now at £10 for motor home or £9 if at sailing club function.
Just stayed the one night. Rocked up without booking. Met by friendly chap who took our money and suggested the best place to stop. Great walking for the dog in both directions and only a mile or so from the start of Rutland Water Parkrun. Dog friendly pub nearby as well. Didn't need the village shop but that is nearby too.View all reviews by brynst3r
Stayed over spring bank. Field undulating. No hard standing. Sailing club opens bar and eating facilities to non members. Short walk to village where fully stocked shop run by villagers and renowned pub food. ( Sadly just before we arrived, pub had suffered fire damage but all village were pulling together to restore normal service to all visitors and locals) short walk to water side for views of the lake can't be seen from campsiteView all reviews by phills1953
Stayed just one night on the early May Bank Holiday Weekend and it was not too busy. E-mailed to book a pitch & was met on site where our money was taken & the facilities & local area outlined. There are water taps & a chemical disposal point. The grass was well mowed and slightly sloping in parts. Right on the Rutland Water Cycle Track & next to the sailing club. You can eat in the sailing club or the pub in Edith Weston just a short walk away. The pub food was outstanding with fine ale too. Great walks, cycling and views. And it was just £8 for a campervan.View all reviews by ashmaz
