We love this campsite!!! The location is amazing! We had an awesome view of the water and the pitches are well segregated with hedges. The site is fairly small which we liked and the owners were very friendly and helpful.View all reviews by onefortheroadtrip
The location was fab, plenty of great walks from the site and only 5 mins from the Bluebird cafe on the water, and 10 mins to walk into the village.
The facilities are basic but very clean.
We will definitely visit again.
literally the most amazing view from aView all reviews by j66glb
motorhome window weve ever had .
toilet/shower block is a bit , well crap ! but we have our own .
Electric-water-TV point on every pitch and the owner couldn't be more friendly . came for 2 nights ended up staying 4 .
dont be put off by the lack of up to date facilities this site has to go on the Favourite list
Location, location, location is what i can say about this site. Small family run. spaciou pitches. shower and toilets clean but dated. right on the water. 28 per night.View all reviews by ldfurniss
WOW loved this site right on the waters edge, could be a bit tight for large outfits/motor homes to get in but worth the effort. facilities are lacking and need up dating best to use your own there is a tap on each pitch so be ok for water for showers in own vehicle.View all reviews by 04807548
This has to be one of my favourite sites. We usually wild camp but needed somewhere clise to the lake to launch our kayaks and you could get a better location. If it CCC club your used to then this is not the place for you, its very rustic and no strange rules on how you park your van. As pointed out in other reviews the shower block is sadly lackingby any standands so best to use your own facilities. However dont let it put you off.View all reviews by paulemmott
This has to be the best campsite location on Lake Coniston and one of my favourite sites. The only criticism is the toilet block. Each pitch has hook up water and a tv point. Our 1st visit but definitely not our last. Would have scored it perfect but for the dated showers.View all reviews by siwarry
Small site right by the lake, great location and some fab walks. Sadly for me the toilet/showers leave a lot to be desired, very dated and I could not bring myself to use the shower. The owners are lovely and this could be a great sight if it had better amenities.View all reviews by lynnkell46
Nice small site with private lake frontage, and a short walk into the village of Coniston. Site has been run by the same family for years. Nice people but it really is time to update the toilet and shower facility. Not up to modern standards, people are, after all, paying modern prices.View all reviews by wavelength
This site is unbeatable for the position right next to the lake and is the site from which Donald Campbell used to launch Bluebird. Site now has service pods on each pitch for hook up to water, power TV aerial and also has WiFi. Very friendly family run site just a short walk to the village of ConistonView all reviews by mcbrid
