Great value with an ACSI card. Friendly greeting didn't seem like a big commercial site, locals can use gym and pool facilities (at a fee), everything clean. Entertainment to suit many tastes, drinks reasonably priced. In addition to all other comments, plenty of free parking in town, wonderful sunsets over Solway Firth. Campfield Marsh RSPB worth a visit.

Big site with lots of statics.
Two areas for tourers, one with pitches in rows, and the other a bit random amongst trees. Facilities clean and functional.
Good place to spend a night or two wth young children. Theres a good heated indoor pool with slide and fountains, and an outdoor pool too which was closed when we visited. Lifeguards actively on duty at the indoor pool. Also soft play area, amusement arcade, a couple of bars, bikes to hire, outdoor play park, and a big bar with “entertainment” stage which we didnt visit.
Fairly short walk or cycle into Silloth - which is a proper old-fashioned seaside resort with a pleasant park area.

We stayed for 2 nights in the snow when it was unpleasant to be outside, -11 windchill. It was completely brilliant for the kids here. We swam in the pool with slide everyday and they have a properly hot spa, sauna and steam room. The laundry was good £3 for washer, £1 for dryer. Bathroom facilities were clean and included multiple baths. Bar, cafe and bowling alley was available too. We normally wouldn’t stay at a site for £30.50 but this was worth every penny.

Quite a large site with plenty of touring and static pitches, the facilities are pretty standard for a large Haven type site with shops, Club house, 10 pin Bowling, Snooker & Pool tables, Gymnasium and Swimming pool. We visit for 3 night's for New Years celebrations and the price doesn't break the bank.

We first visited this site in july 07 when we got our 1st motorhome and we have been going every year for the newyear party.
Its like a haven camp with lots going on for the kids. Theres an indoor pool family lounge, arcade and bowling, theres a snooker room and adult only rooms for those wanting to get away from the kids.
Theres a sauna and gym also a restaurant serving basic food.
Facilities have always been clean.
Pitches on criffel are better than skidaw because they are better drained.

Turned up adhoc. Plenty of space think because of time of year (October just before half term) there are 2 areas for tourers. One where you lined up are in rows, the other is a more spread out in trees, there are some camping pods in the trees one. We stayed in the trees one. We were told the the TV reception is bad there, i didn't have a problem with freeview and a Yagi type arial. The toilet block is new and very clean, has disabled access. The pitch is hard standing (gravel type) all have electric.

The reception building is in the main building where there are Bars, cafe, Pool, steam Room, Sauna, 10 pin bowling (pay extra), shop selling some food and stuff.

The sea front is about 10/15 min walk away with a promenade. There is a small harbour. In the town there are a few cafes/restaurants, Bars. Also there is a small supermarket with an ATM.

There is another site 2 mins away from the main Stanwix site for tourers "Hayton Park" this has a toilet block and the pitches are all grass. There are no other facilities on this site. You can stay there and get day tickets to use everything in the main site.
