Great overnight stop when travelling up & down the coast but don't know why the long stayers were here! The village is very quiet with a few bars & essential shops. Large "Family Shop" discount supermarket nearby. Aire is clean, tidy, hottish water & good Wi-Fi. Owner speaks very little English. Cash payments only. Small bar onsite. Church bells ring every quarter 8am to 10pm. Aire on an industrial estate which is very busy with workers arriving before 6am & parking next to aire.

Great aire, Paco is a good guy, clean and tidy facilities. Tarmac hard standing, we stayed here for a couple of nights during heavy rain and some flooding. In an industrial area with no views, quiet at night.

Our 3rd time here and wouldn't pass it on the way North or South. Paco the attendant is very friendly and will help with anything. Toilets and showers are kept clean and it feels safe because the gate is locked at night but a key is issued. The local town is nice with a LIDL close by, several shops and bars.

Stayed here for one night (only because we had a deadline) or we would have stayed longer & explored the area on our bikes.
Great stop. Owner speaks limited English but is very helpful.
Service point good.
Inside & outside bar area.
Bread can be ordered the day before.
Large plots.
Obviously a lot of 'returners' from the international community and everyone friendly.
9€ per night (7€ if between 4-14 nights)
3.5€ electric
1€ wifi
Washing/drying available 3€ each
Rental car available locally

Local church has bells

A handy stop to explore the area. The site is in the middle of a commercial/urban area but was very clean and tidy and the facilities were also spotless and well maintained. The attendant oversaw security (and sold a welcome cold beer!) and when he left the gates were locked (they give you a key) but I guess a late evening arrival might be a problem. We liked it enough to stop there twice, once on the way down and once on the way back.

Handy site for visiting Oliva and Gandia. Can take the cycle track in either direction through the orange groves. The small town of Alqueira de la Comtessa is very peaceful. Supermarket nearby. Superb facilities, even provide soap! Helpful and friendly staff. The area is surrounded by industrial buildings but most are deserted and there is no noise. In fact it looks as if the camper area is on the site of a demolished factory. Don't be fooled by the green on the pictures, it's paint not grass.
