Looks like the council is installing hight barriers of 2 metres. We managed to stay overnight but only because they were waiting for the concrete to set on the barriers so they were left open. Don't think we will able to use this spot in the future ☹️

Stayed on a Friday night on route north via the M40, one other MH there. Its £1 to stay until 08;00, thought id put a bit more in as we’re rarely on the move by that time but the machine wouldn’t take anymore, pleasantly surprised it was valid until 08:00 on the Monday!

Great stopover, lovely and quiet. 10 mins walk into Warwick. Stayed last week on way down south and again last night on the way home. Good for walking dogs, footpath straight onto the race track.

I had been told that height batriers were being installed so this is the reply that i got from Warwick Council

Good morning

Overnight parking for your motor home is fine in St Mary's Area 2 car park, however, please be advised that there is now a gate at the entrance to the car park which is locked at 8pm and re-opened at 7am

regards

Excellent overnight stop for those travelling North/South on M40 and would agree with all covered in the many positive reviews. Would add that there is a convenient and reasonably priced fuel station on the route from M40 ti the site (no lpg). Also the walking routes around the racecourse can be accessed via a gate at the top left of the carpark, by the pavillion, where there is a map of paths and dog poo bucket.

Cheap as chips. Busy road runs past. But does go quiet. No boy racers, but it was mid-week. Maybe they had work the next morning. ????

Great stop over, especially if tou have a dog, like walking and have a large MH.
£1 per space for 10hrs. 50p over night.
We take up two spaces so payed £2. Cant believe how many folk park half on the grass to avoid spending the extra £1.
Its just a car park so no facilities gowever its an easy walk to Sainburys for supplies, the historic center of Warwick is juat a bit further and theres country walks and runs accross the race course. Top marks.

Nice spot for the small fee. Nice Walks around race track and fields. Some dog walkers and really close to town. Remember it's a car park. At present there's young men on motorcycles and cars racing going up and down up and down.
It's 2145 so hopefully they will leave soon and it'll be nice and quiet again.
Other than that.. spot on..

excellent stopover - 10 minutes walk into town (walk towards the Paddock entrance and turn left) Warwick is very pretty and plenty to look 'round. No problems at all when we stayed (Bank Holiday Saturday) us and two other vans. All this for a quid... nice to feel welcomed. Thank You Warwick!

Just spent three peaceful nights there so we could visit Warwick castle and the town, both just a 10 minute walk away. Huge car park overlooking the racecourse, no facilities, currently charging £1 for 24 hours. Avoid 25 September which is the next race meet and car park will be closed for campers. Two nights there were 4 campers and the last night there were 20 of us. The car park is used heavily for learner driving schools which is great as it stops the boy racers causing too much disturbance.

Nice spot for an overnight stop, great if you have dogs as plenty of walks on the race course, only on other van when we were there on a Bank holiday weekend and they were Dutch. £1 for over night and £1 for 10 hours during the day.

Nice Little Spot! Awesome value ONE POUND FOR 24hrs!
No facilities that we saw but the town is only a 10 min. stroll with lots of shops, cafes, pubs. Restaurants of MANY nationalities along with the obligatory Wetherspoons Sir Thomas Lloyd in Market Street. Two steaks and two pints for £20ish in there and nicely cooked and served too.
Castle is well worth a visit but PAY ONLINE FIRST as it saves you queueing and saves money too! Some of the MERCHANDISE in there is VERY DEAR. All in all GREAT!!

Stayed here March 2018. Great little spot right at the end of the car park with very little passing traffic (lots of learner drivers during the evening but they were all done by 9ish.) You could hear the M40 in the distance but it wasn't intrusive. Site was level and we didn't need chocks, but we did take up three bays (we had a trailer) so we bought 3 tickets. (50p each) Lots of dog walkers from about 7am. We left about 8am so we didn't get boxed into the car park. No facilities.

Great location overlooking the race course. Fantastic for walking a dog and an easy walk into town. Stayed twice on a Friday night. Quiet and felt completely safe. If you like real ale couple of good pubs close by including the Old Post Office micro pub where you can take your own food, please note it does close at 9pm.

Excellent location right on the edge of Warwick with no height restriction. We parked overlooking the racecourse and there was 1 other large motorhome already there. We saw a police car patrol the racecourse (no racing that day) and saw a lot of dog walkers. There were also a lot of learner drivers using the car park to manoeuvre. As 2 single females we felt very safe and at 50p for overnight it was an excellent stop.

Ideal overnight spot close to Warwick town centre (about 10 minutes walk). The car park was quiet and flat, spaces are big enough with overhang to a grassed area overlooking the race course. We saw people walking their dogs near to and around the race course. We parked with great views of the racecourse and were blessed with a beautiful sunset. Very quiet overnight. It costs 50p from 6pm to 8am but if you want to explore Warwick it only costs £1 to park during the day.

We stayed at The Racecourse / St Marys Area 2,Warwick CV34 6JP. Only 50p over night, quiet, flat carpark. There was a larger unit was parked at the end, with rear end sticking out over the grassy area, so only took up one spot. We are small,(ford transit size) so fitted easily in a spot. Clean, quiet, and cheap, nice easy walking distance into Warwick. Nice view over the racecourse, dog walkers there. Can recommend but check for race days before you go!
