I didnt like this site, reception is commercial and cold.

You dont have an allocated pitch you just go find one, which is fine unless you’re in a motorhome and go out for the day, you may just find another camper “found” your pitch whilst you were gone.

Also barriers across the entrance from 8pm - no vehicle over 2m can leave or enter after then.

A large group pitched behind me - 2 tents, 3 cars, about 8 people. Loud, chanting football songs, drunk from lunchtime. Then running their engines from about 4am for hours cos they were cold.

I moved on to Channel View, 100x better site, service and location.

We, despite my early reservations about the area, absolutely loved this site! It's immaculately kept with the best facilities we have ever had. We particularly liked that one field is solely designated for those with no dogs which is us!! There's a cycle path which is flat and a farm walk which took us just over an hour taking in the scenery and lakes with loads of wildlife. There's an ice cream parlour that we just HAD to go in every day to try out new flavours!! The angling and parts shop is very comprehensive and not at all expensive. We didn't go into the Beachcomber pub so can't review it. Will be extremely busy and popular in high season. We'll be back in September!!

A large, family orientated holiday park with good quality, clean facilities. Grass or hardstanding pitches. Shops pubs/bars ( free entertainment) and lots of playing facilities for a wide age range of children, make this the ideal campsite for school holidays with the kids. There are large fields, one with a zip wire adventure playground as well as enclosed ball game areas. The massive beach is over the road and a 20 min walk takes you to the foot of Brean Down - the views from the top are stunning. Bus stops to Burnham on sea or Weston super Mare are two minutes walk from the gate. Tickets £7.00 for all day travel and could have got us to cheddar gorge if the connecting bus had turned up!

Good campsite with all the amenities you need. We stopped for one night here in April and had a night in the Beachcomber pub. The beer was good but the food was not the best

This is the second time we have stayed here we use it as a pit stop to the south. The Beachcomber is a lovely pub with lots going on in the the evenings if you like entertainment. The facilities are really good gear shower blocks and toilets, easy walk to the beach and an good dog walk.

We spent one night here with our dogs and the grandchildren. The site is very professional, with clean facilities that are a joy to use. The beach at Brean is within 5 minutes walk and is dog friendly all year round. The children loved the play areas and the play barn (a fairground arcade really). The pets corner had a plastic cow, a real donkey, goat and ducks! Will definitely return.

An excellent family site with plenty for all to do. Excellent clubhouse (beachcomber) and very good and reasonably priced meals. This is also a very dog friendly park. We go here at least 4 times a year. Staff are very helpful and very polite.
