Well maintained, heated and clean toilet & shower block. Dishwashing and laundry facilities available, as well as Calor Gas bottles. Site is tarmac road with spacious gravel pitches, open 11 months of the year. Some grass pitches also, but restricted to Summer only, when dry enough.
Some noise hum from nearby motorway and High Speed Railway.
Convenient to Jct 8 of the M20 for cross channel ports. 3 miles from Maidstone, county town of Kent, with a bus service passing outside the site gate. Close to Leeds Castle, within walking distance for the energetic.
Almost always fully booked at weekends year round, so book ahead.
Club Wi-Fi service available across all of the site.
As always with the Caravan Club, price is per pitch with EHU, then add on a premium per person. Typical cost low season for 2 people is about £18, rising to about £22 in Summer.

A nice site with clean modern toilet blocks and nice hot showers that dont turn off every 10 seconds. The warden was very friendly and helpful and the pitches were quite spacious and level.
Leeds Castle is just a very short bike ride away and is well worth a visit, there is so much more than just the Castle with lots for the whole family.
We enjoyed a nice walk to the local pub which offered good food, it was very busy when we were there on a Sunday afternoon. All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

Typical caravan club site. Very clean, well maintained pitches all mainly level gravel with some grass. Facilities modern and clean with very good disabled facilities. Staff were business like. Ideal for Leeds Castle.

We use this site often, as it's close to family and friends when visiting Kent. It's the Caravan Club, so you know the high standards to expect, and this site is run in the usual fastidious and precise manner that they all are. Just don't put anything on the grass, or they lose it big time!!
The shower and toilet blocks are spotless and warm, but the 10:30 to noon cleaning block out is really inconvenient if you want to use the toilet before the noon deadline to leave - there are no other loos.
The background noise from the M20, A20, local railway, and Eurostar line (all within 300 yards) can be loud at times, especially during the night. If you need silence to sleep, this site is not for you. if you can zone out a background constant hum, then you'll be fine.
So I love the site for convenience for a purpose, but I wouldn't holiday here.

As with all Caravan Club sites it was very well run, clean and tidy with excellent toilets and showers and easy access to waste disposal points. Great location to use for visiting Leeds castle (only about a mile away) and other attractions in the area, close to the M20 (but not to close)
