This place is now closed due to an increase of motorhome being broken into so the council has closed it down.

Stayed one night in December, access now only on one side as indicated by sign at access point which is the zebra crossing ramp. Looked a bit tired and has few level spots but Seven vehicles stayed over, there is lighting, slight road noise, good access to old town, we felt safe.

A huge open plan parking area right behind the aqueduct and just off the main route through the town. There is a petrol station and a few small shops opposite and an Intermarché with MH services 1km and a Lidl on the approach from Badajoz. You can walk up the hill towards the castle for good views over the town. Nice and quiet at night, only 6 vans in November 2018.

Great spot, very quiet apart from the aformentioned barking dogs but they were in the distance and didn’t bother us. Very well lit area so felt safe. Not much to complain about when it’s free!!

Free aire on car park in the shadow of the huge aqueduct. Shadow very welcome with temperatures pushing 38 degrees! No facilities but those available at nearby Intermarche service point. Local youths use car park as a meeting point in their cars but do not bother the motorhomes. Small amount of road noise & barking dogs overnight. Easy walk uphill to visit the walled town with its castle, cathedral and plaza. Great views of other forts & the aqueduct. Photo on the "All the Aires" cover is here!

Large area with lots of vans using it. There are toilets but they were locked when we were there. We only stayed here because the Aire at Badajoz was full and it's only a few kilometres further, on the way south. There was some road noise and some noise from barking dogs but we were not too disturbed that we didn't sleep.

Our second visit here and stayed over for one night with 8 other vans. The night was quiet and we had an enjoyable walk around this lovely town.

Great spot to park in the shadows of the Aqueduct. The old town centre was not far away well worth spending a few days
